The Truth About Christian Carino's Relationship With Lauren Cohan
A romance between a talent agent and a popular television actress may sound like a Hollywood fairy tale, but it was the true red carpet story for Christian Carino and Lauren Cohan — at least for a little while.
Carino is a heavyweight with the Creative Artists Agency who has represented big names in entertainment, including Justin Bieber, Amber Heard, Jennifer Lopez, Simon Cowell, and Miley Cyrus. Cohan survived a zombie apocalypse as fan-favorite Maggie Greene in AMC's hit show, The Walking Dead. Cohan left the drama in November 2018 and joined the ABC dramedy series Whiskey Cavalier, but she'll return to fighting zombies in 2020.

Christian Carino was previously married to journalist Brooke Baldwin from 1997 to 2013, according to O magazine. They divorced in 2015 but co-parent daughters Isabella and Lola.
Cohan kept her dating life out of the spotlight as her star power began to rise. Fans of The Walking Dead actually thought the British actress was in a relationship with co-star Steven Yuen (pictured right), who plays her husband, Glenn Rhee, in the series. "There are entire websites dedicated to the proof that Steven and I are in a real relationship," she told Rolling Stone. "Which is always funny, because it's not. Obviously there's huge fanaticism about the show, but it's nice to be known for something like that."
Cohan was reportedly Carino's client at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and the two were seen together in 2016. They were photographed at a New York Rangers hockey match and at a Tommy Hilfiger fashion event, per Harper's Bazaar, but as quiet as they coupling was, so do was their split.

Christian Carino moved on to another one of his mega-star clients. He and Lady Gaga made headlines as an item when he accompanied her to her Super Bowl LI halftime performance in 2017. They were spotted at the big game kissing and taking selfies, reported People. By October 2018, Carino and Gaga were engaged. According to O magazine, he gave Mother Monster a giant pink sapphire and asked her family for her hand in marriage. He also tattooed Gaga's face on his arm.
Alas, this love story did not end with a trip down the aisle. According to People, Gaga attended the 2019 Grammy Awards sans Carino and sans engagement ring, and in February 2019, her rep confirmed that the pair had called the whole thing off. In May 2020, Gaga released her sixth studio album, Chromatica. Cosmopolitan reported that one of the album's songs, "Fun Tonight," may be inspired by the breakup with Carino.
As for Carino's ex, Lauren Cohan, she's kept her love life out of the press, though she did divulge a bit about her dating style to GQ. "I'm a big believer in if he's into you, he's not going to keep it a secret, so I don't chase anything. I just let the universe show itself to me."
