All The Stunning Women Jonathan Taylor Thomas Has Been Rumored To Date

In the social media era, keeping one's private life completely under wraps is a feat for even the most ordinary of citizens. For celebrities, it's a virtual impossibility. But Jonathan Thomas Taylor has defied the odds and managed to keep his love life almost entirely away from the spotlight. He's still human, though, and speculation about the "Home Improvement" alum's relationship status has made the rounds. And, if the rumors have any weight to them, the once-popular '90s teen idol has dated some stunning women.

The only solid relationship we definitively know about was between Thomas and "Boy Meets World" alum Danielle Fishel. But they were simply preteens learning to navigate the dating scene and fame at the same time. "After I already had the crush on Jonathan, and then yes, Jonathan was my first boyfriend, when I was like 12," she revealed in a Q&A on the "Pod Meets World" podcast in 2022. From then on, we're firmly in rumor-land.

Also in the '90s, Thomas was linked to Jessica Bowman from "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman," according to Vice, but not much is known about that rumored romance. The "Wild America" actor also sparked dating rumors when he was photographed walking hand-in-hand with Nikki Hale in 1997. They sure looked like more than just friends in the photo but they never confirmed the relationship. In 2007, Thomas was reportedly engaged to author Natalie Wright, from whom he split later that year, according to The New Zealand Herald. Thomas' list of purported romantic partners is certainly impressive.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas faced scrutiny over his sexuality

Because he was always guarded about his personal life, Jonathan Taylor Thomas faced many assumptions about his sexuality. At just 17, Thomas had to answer extremely personal questions on TV because, well, if he wasn't openly dating half of Hollywood, then that must mean he's gay, right? Thomas tried to play it cool, though. "Pretty much in Hollywood you're not anyone until it's rumored that you're gay, so I wasn't that upset about it," he said on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in 1998, when Leno asked if the rumors about his sexuality upset him.

Thomas emphasized he didn't pay much attention to gossip. "Not that there's anything wrong with [being gay], but they're rumors, and you should always be careful with rumors," he said. But Leno also wanted an actual answer and pressed Thomas to divulge whether or not he was gay. "No, no, no, I'm not, I'm not," he laughed, while Leno continued, "You, know, it's fine. You know, if you want to come out, it's fine."

Thomas never had to address this level of speculation about his private affairs again. After "Home Improvement" ended in 1999, we stopped hearing from the '90s sitcom star as he stepped back from acting to focus on his education. He never looked back. "I never took the fame too seriously," he told People in 2013. "It was a great period in my life, but it doesn't define me. When I think back on the time, I look at it with a wink."
