The Truth About Mila Kunis And Princess Beatrice's Friendship
Mila Kunis and Princess Beatrice might be two high-profile people who you wouldn't expect to even know each other, but they've actually been friends for years! The That '70s Show star – who hails from Ukraine and moved to the U.S. as a child — and the British royal have been palling around since at least 2013.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Kunis' husband, Ashton Kutcher, reportedly met Beatrice's former boyfriend, Dave Clark, in 2012 when Kutcher "purchased a space flight on Virgin Galactic, where Clark worked." Kutcher and Clark also likely knew each other thanks to their Uber connection — Clark worked for the rideshare company until 2017 and Kutcher is an investor in the company. Through their significant others, Kunis and Beatrice seemingly became friends as well, even vacationing together in St. Tropez in June 2013, per ET. In 2015, the group was spotted out and about in New York City after they all hopped into an Uber (fitting!) together.
Beatrice and her sister, Princess Eugenie, actually have a wide variety of A-list friends. Not that it's too surprising for a royal to be popular among high-profile people (just look at Meghan Markle!), but Beatrice even counts celebs like Ed Sheeran and Karlie Kloss as her friends, per Tatler – not to mention Kunis and Kutcher, of course.
So will Mila Kunis be at Princess Beatrice's wedding?
In 2015, Mila Kunis and Princess Beatrice attended a wedding in Mexico, per People. Their dates? Ashton Kutcher and Dave Clark — Beatrice's boyfriend at the time. They joined up for the nuptials of a mutual friend in the beautiful locale. The wedding marked yet another group outing for the four friends. The two couples were also spotted at a fancy dinner at the Duck & Waffle restaurant in London in 2013, according to E! News. At the time, a rep for the restaurant said, "They were very nice, even stopping by and chatting with the chef on the way out."
According to Express, Beatrice split from Clark in 2016 after a decade of dating, and it's unclear if she's remained friends with Kunis and Kutcher. The royal hasn't been seen publicly with the couple since her breakup, but it's possible that they're all still buddies and that Kunis and Kutcher will even score an invite to Princess Beatrice's wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi – whenever the wedding happens. (It was originally scheduled for May 2020 but was postponed due to Covid-19.)
While Express reported in January 2020 that Beatrice might be eyeing "a slimmed-down wedding," considering the fact that her engagement party was a "star-studded" affair, which featured the likes of Ellie Goulding and Robert De Niro, per Harper's Bazaar, Kunis and Kutcher could definitely pop up on the guest list. Here's hoping Kunis and Kutcher turn up for Princess Beatrice!
