Carys Zeta Douglas Is One Of The Most Gorgeous Celeb Daughters In Hollywood

It feels like it was only yesterday that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones' relationship and 25-year age gap were the talk of the town. But that was the late '90s, and the couple's two children are now full-grown adults. Millennials who remember the cute dark-haired children next to their famous parents would surely have a hard time recognizing them now. As it turns out, Carys Zeta Douglas grew up to be stunning like her mama. As the November 2025 picture below shows, Carys' resemblance to Zeta-Jones is undeniable.

She has her mother's expressive eyes and eyebrows, as well as strong cheekbones. Fans of the "Zorro" actor are often struck by the unique beauty shared by mother and daughter. "Jesus what a face. She and her mom are just blessed," a Reddit user wrote in reaction to August 2026 photos of Carys and Michael. While many others agreed that Carys is Zeta-Jones' mini-me, they also highlighted that she takes after her father in some ways. "Her resemblance to her mom is as clear as day ... But her lips and her overall face structure is very Michael Douglas," a second Reddit user argued, including a picture of a young Michael to make the point.

Other netizens were flabbergasted to learn that Carys was a full-blown woman. "This was that long ago that now this fetus is an adult!?" a Reddit user wrote while reminiscing about Zeta-Jones' 2003 Oscar win during her pregnancy. Not only is Carys an adult, but she's also following in her parents' footsteps in the entertainment industry.

Carys Zeta Douglas is pursuing a career in acting

Carys Zeta Douglas didn't grow up in Hollywood. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas made it a priority to raise their kids away from the industry, spending around a decade during their childhoods in Bermuda. While her parents' efforts paid off in creating grounded adults, it didn't deter Carys from pursuing an acting career. In June 2026, she made her stage debut in Anton Chekhov's play "The Seagull" in New York City, where she lives. Before that, she had starred in the 2024 short film "F*uck that Guy."

Having earned a degree in film and international relations from Brown University in 2025, Carys didn't study to be an actor. But she hopes her education and environment can lead to a broader career in the arts. "I'm happy to be in such an informative arts space, so hopefully more of that," she told People in 2025. In 2018, a 15-year-old Carys told E! News that she was unsure of what career path to follow, but made it clear that she was interested in the arts by saying that she enjoyed acting, fashion, singing, and playing the piano.

Michael and Zeta-Jones have always been supportive of whatever path she wanted to follow. Her father has strived to pass on to his daughter the work ethos he learned from his own father, the late Kirk Douglas. "Whatever you do in life, whatever you gotta do, just do it to your utmost ability," he told ET in 2019. "Do it with full commitment and then, screw it if it doesn't work out. Move on. But, you know, you left it with the idea that there is nothing more you could have done."
