Ozzy Osbourne's Massive Fortune Has Started A Rumored Feud (& Sharon Is At The Center)

Things have been relatively quiet for the Osbournes since their beloved patriarch, Ozzy Osbourne, passed away in 2025. But now, the famous family is back in the headlines as drama brews over the rock star's multi-million dollar fortune. According to The U.S. Sun, Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne, has asked the High Court of Justice, in England, to have his longtime accountant, Colin Newman, removed as an executor of her late husband's will, sparking rumors of a rift. Upon his death at 76, the Black Sabbath front-man reportedly left behind a sizable fortune, with estimates ranging from roughly £100 million (or $135 million in U.S. dollars), per The Sun, to a staggering $220 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Along with Sharon, her assistant Melinda Varga and niece Georgina Maszlin, both of whom are also listed as executors, are in favor of Newman's ousting. It's unclear exactly why Sharon wants to make the change, or whether Newman has contested her request, but he has worked closely with the Osbournes for decades. Aside from serving as the family's accountant since the '80s, Newman also spent years working as a director of Ozzy's company, Monowise Ltd., and was reportedly a close friend of the metal icon's. He has even been credited on some of Ozzy's musical releases and also represented Sharon as her literary agent.

That said, Sharon has previously expressed her wish to keep her husband's legacy within the family. "I just know that my husband's body of work, that he's written, and kept us all in the lifestyle that we love, goes to my children," she argued on "The Talk" in 2020 (via Stylecaster). "I don't want someone that never met my husband owning his name and likeness and selling T-shirts everywhere and whatever. No, it stays in the Osbourne family." 

Notably, this latest report comes just months after Sharon Osbourne and her adult children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne, marked the one-year anniversary of Ozzy Osbourne's death. The heavy metal icon died at 76 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease, with his official cause of death listed as cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, and coronary artery disease. "He was authentic," Sharon gushed in a July 2026 interview with the BBC. "He never tried to be anything other than what he was." She also honored the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer on what would have been Sharon and Ozzy's wedding anniversary, earlier that very same month. "Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary," Sharon captioned an Instagram shot of the couple's hands. "Instead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish. I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way. Forever my husband. Forever my heart." 

The "Paranoid" hitmaker had three additional kids with Ozzy Osbourne's first wife Thelma Riley: Elliot Kingsley, Jessica Osbourne, and Louis Osbourne. Following his death, a source confirmed to Radar Online that the famous musician intended to leave something to each of his six children. "Ozzy was adamant that no child would be cut out of his will, no matter their public profile," they clarified. The outlet also reported that the rocker gave his wife Sharon lifetime access to his will, after which his remaining assets would be divided equally among Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Whether Ozzy's three other children will inherit anything from his estate isn't clear, but it's worth noting that, according to the insider, "Ozzy loved all his kids equally — fame or no fame didn't matter."
