Fans of ABC soap opera "All My Children" might remember Cameron Mathison's daughter prancing next to him at events in the aughts (seen above in 2010). They will surely feel old at the realization that Leila Mathison is now a full-grown adult. And Cameron's little girl grew up to be gorgeous. We aren't surprised, though. After all, she's the offspring of a TV heartthrob and a model and surely inherited some of her parents' best traits.
Leila, the youngest of the two children Cameron shares with ex-wife Vanessa Mathison, is pretty active on social media, where she often shares selfies and other photos that show how stunning she turned out to be. The photo below from August 2026 is a great example. She included it among a series of pictures from a trip she took to Kenya with her mother and brother, Cameron's equally handsome son, Lucas. The image perfectly captures the resemblance she shares with her model mom. Leila inherited the honey-colored skin tone of Cameron's former wife, who's of Mexican and Filipino descent, as well as her dark hair and eyes. However, Leila has Cameron's strong nose and gaze.
Every time Cameron or Vanessa share pictures of their girl on their socials, they always get comments about how good-looking she grew up to be. "That darn Leila is a stunner!" Entertainment Tonight host Nischelle Turner commented under a September 2026 Instagram post. Vanessa received similar feedback when she shared snippets from their African getaway. "Your kids are gorgeous. I have watched them grow up. What a vacation," a netizen gushed. We agree wholeheartedly.

Leila Mathison has the looks and the family history, but she hasn't followed in her mother's footsteps in the modeling industry. Instead, Cameron Mathison's daughter went into the social sciences. After she graduated from high school in June 2024, Leila jetted off to France to start her college journey. "This fall ... Leila is off to American University in Paris for psychology. Every moment is so precious," the "General Hospital" star captioned a July 2024 Instagram post from a trip to Arizona.
After two years in the French capital, Leila returned to the United States to continue her studies at home. But being home didn't mean she was going to be close to her parents. While Cameron and Vanessa live in California, their daughter went off to college at Barnard Columbia, on the opposite coast. "Leila is off to NYC to finish her college degree after two years in Paris. Now go show em who you are Lulu," Cameron captioned an August 2026 post.
Leila may not be as far away this time, but she's still far enough that Cameron experienced empty nest syndrome all over again when she left after spending the summer at home. "So grateful for every lazy morning, every laughing fit, every workout, every Alfred's iced latte, her annual bday at Disney, every walk in nature, and mostly just waking up and knowing she was home," he wrote. But Leila's plans for the future remain unknown. There's no evidence she wants to be a model like her mom or an actor like her dad as of yet, but you never know!
