Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone's divorce filings have revealed that the former weightlifter brings in a pretty impressive salary, but where does it all come from? While some may assume the reality star makes serious bank from his "90 Day Fiancé" paychecks, a lot of it actually comes from his day jobs.

As "90 Day Fiancé" fans will know, Mendes filed for divorce from Ramone in 2026. With that, their respective earnings have been made public, and according to TMZ, he makes $10,000 per month. That doesn't exactly make him the richest "90 Day Fiancé" star, but it's nothing to sneer at either, and like we said, there's a good chance much of it comes from working regular jobs outside of TLC. In his Instagram bio, Mendes has said he's involved in both franchising for Teriyaki Boy restaurants and commercial real estate. As for his LinkedIn, he's listed as an account exec at the kitchen software company CloudKitchens and a regional sales manager at home security company Brinks Home. Between all of that and his "90 Day Fiancé" checks, he's got a number of income streams.

Unfortunately for Mendes, his income isn't the only financial detail to have been made public in the wake of his divorce from Ramone. On the contrary, some of his debts have also made headlines. In May 2026, Starcasm reported that three civil suits were brought against him in 2025 over unpaid credit cards and loans. Sadly, that still wasn't all: In June 2026, Starcasm shared another report, this time that Mendes' total debt was over $221,800. On Instagram, his estranged wife shared a cryptic response to the outlet's post about the debt, quipping, "I can confirm I have no idea what's that lol."

Patrick Mendes previously avoided talking about money

While Patrick Mendes' divorce has made some of his financial information public, it wasn't the first time people asked questions about how much money he made or how he earned it. Au contraire, longtime "90 Day Fiancé" fans may recall the scene in which his then-fiancé Thais Ramone asked him about his net worth, and rather than provide her with an answer (or agree to talk about it off-camera), he flipped out.

"Flipped out" may actually be an understatement. After Ramone pointed out that she had no idea about their financial circumstances, he became cagey. Then he threw dollar bills across the table at her to buy things for the house (which had been the reason for the argument in the first place). Understandably, that didn't sit well with Ramone, who told him what he did was "horrible" before saying in a confessional, "It is really disrespectful for a man to do this to a woman, anywhere in the world."

In response to the clip, a number of YouTube users called Mendes out, one writing, "With him being so secretive, it makes it seem like he's either in some sort of shady business or trying to conceal a massive debt." Another also said the "90 Day Fiancé" star came across as shady, writing, "His defensiveness with his FIANCE, aka FUTURE WIFE, makes him look so sketchy. She isn't using him for 'lifestyle.' If she was, she would have taken the money. I think she's suspicious of his financial health." Of course, it's also possible Mendes was just uncomfortable talking about money, particularly on camera. Either way, we now know a lot more about his finances because of his split from Ramone and his spending habits.
