Casey Affleck's Oldest Son Has Inherited His Dad And Uncle's Good Looks

Indiana Affleck is Hollywood royalty. Besides more evidently having Casey Affleck for a father and Ben Affleck for an uncle, Indiana is the oldest of Casey's two sons from his relationship with Summer Phoenix, which makes him the nephew of Joaquin and the late River Phoenix, too. Given his family line, it isn't surprising the celebrity son grew up to be handsome like his father and uncles. Indiana, born in May 2004, put his good looks on full display during a rare appearance at the Venice Film Festival in September 2026.

As the photo below shows, Indiana stood next to his Uncle Ben, showing how much he takes after the Afflecks. Casey's oldest kid has the family's strong brows, prominent nose, and well-defined jawline, But unlike his paternal uncle and mother, who have hazel eyes, Indiana has light-colored eyes like his father. He also matched to his uncle's height, suggesting he inherited that trait from his uncle. Ben stands at 6-foot-2, whereas Casey is considerably shorter at 5-foot-9.

While his likeness to the Affleck brothers is undeniable, many also think Indiana looks like the Phoenix siblings. "Wow ur boy looks like a mix of casey and your brothers," an Instagram user commented under a May 2022 picture shared by Summer. Others have gone so far as to argue that his father's genes didn't even try. "That's a phoenix, not an affleck," a netizen wrote under an Instagram post featuring a picture from the Venice Film Festival. Regardless of which side of the family he takes after the most, there's no denying that Indiana hit the genetic jackpot.

His good looks aren't all that Indiana Affleck inherited from the Affleck and Phoenix clans. Descending from two acting families, Casey Affleck's son has followed in his parents and uncles' footsteps in the entertainment industry. He starred in the 2016 short "Drama" and the 2022 film "What Comes Around," and Indiana has gained renewed attention for working on his father's 2026 gothic mystery, "Company." Casey was overjoyed by working with his children, as Atticus Affleck also has a small role in the film.

In his eyes, his children's interest in acting isn't surprising. After all, it's in their blood. "They grew up around it and had some interest in it and a sort of innate understanding of what it was," Casey said at a news conference (via People). "Like I did, my dad worked in the theater for many years. And so it's passed down, I suppose, which is a really nice thing. And they were willing to be a part of this." But besides acting, Indiana has also shown that he isn't oblivious to his good looks.

On his Instagram page, Indiana has shared professional pictures that show he's dabbled in modeling. In February 2025, he walked the runway clad in Bode at the GQ Bowl, seen above. He has also shared other photoshoots, suggesting he's also into fashion. We don't blame him, as he is certainly handsome enough to work in the modeling industry. As far as his acting career goes, only time will tell what the newest Affleck on the scene has in store for us.
