The Untold Truth Of Daniel Tosh's Wife

In order to enjoy some of the jokes made by comedian Daniel Tosh, it's necessary to have acquired a certain sense of humor. Quite a few celebs can't stand Tosh due, in part, to his misogynistic, racist, and homophobic banter. However, even though he's clearly rubbed some people the wrong way, Tosh has a special someone in his life who has stuck around despite the backlash.

Given Tosh's proclivity to speak his mind, it's somewhat surprising that he keeps intimate details of his love life out of the spotlight. According to People, the comedian previously dated model Megan Abrigo. Per The New York Times, the two were linked as early as 2009. It is unclear exactly when Tosh and Abrigo split, but in 2018, it was reported that Tosh had been married to a woman named Carly Hallam since April 2016. The couple secretly married in a private ceremony in Malibu, Calif., per TMZ.

There's no word on how long Tosh and Hallam knew each other before tying the knot. Additionally, there is very little evidence of their relationship on their social media accounts. That being said, Hallam played a pretty significant role behind the scenes of Tosh.0. Keep reading to find out what you need to know about Daniel Tosh's wife.

Daniel Tosh's wife was part of his writing team

Behind every good television show is a good team of writers. Luckily for Daniel Tosh, he had Carly Hallam on his team. In August 2020, it was announced that Tosh.0 would be ending after its 12th season. Hallam was around for quite a few of those seasons as she joined Tosh.0 as a writer in 2012, according to People. Prior to joining the writing team, Hallam appeared in several episodes of the viral clip show. And Hallam's not only credited for her work on Tosh.0, she also has writing credits on NBC's Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

In addition to writing for television, Hallam also has published work on the internet. Her article about how to wear a little black dress appears on a notorious satire site called McSweeney's.

Hallam and Tosh seem to share a similar sense of sarcastic humor. While her Instagram page is private, Hallam's Twitter page is public and exhibits some of her humorous commentary. In her pinned tweet, she writes: "Would you like a printed receipt or would you like us to email you 3-5 times a week for the rest of your life?" It seems that Tosh has met his match made in comedy heaven. How romantic!
