Inside Nicole Franzel's Big Brother Dating History

In early September 2020, it was revealed that Nicole Franzel had set a record for the most time spent in the Big Brother house. Aside from walking away with $500,000 when she won Season 18, Nicole used her time on the show for showmances. These days, Nicole is engaged to Victor Arroyo, who she met during BB18. However, they didn't even kiss during that season because she struck up a romance with Corey Brooks.

Two seasons prior, Nicole caught feelings for Hayden Voss. The Big Brother Season 16 stars were admittedly into each other, even earning the moniker "Haycole." However, they didn't kiss right away, which led to a lot of built up among the fandom in summer 2014. When Nicole and Hayden "finally" kissed, it was a big deal to viewers. Eventually, Nicole and Hayden's romance made them targets in the house, with Christine Brecht putting them both on the block, which resulted in Hayden's eviction.

They dated after the show, but it's unclear how long their relationship actually lasted. When Nicole returned to Big Brother to compete on Season 18 in the summer 2016, she declared "I'm single and ready to play for myself now," according to Bustle. The outlet also reported that she posted a photo with Hayden on May 23, 2016, at the Me Before You premiere, which has since been deleted. Hayden shared a photo of them at the same event, which he deleted, too. Season 18 started airing on June 22, 2016, which could mean that Nicole was freshly single when she entered the house for her second season.

Nicole Franzel connected with Corey Brooks during BB18

Nicole Franzel's romance with Corey Brooks was a focal point of the 18th season of Big Brother, which aired in the summer of 2016. Of course, Nicole ultimately winning the season became the much bigger story. However, their romance didn't last. Just like her previous Big Brother relationship with Hayden Voss, the timeline of Nicole's romance with Corey and the reason behind the breakup are pretty unclear.

That being said, Inquisitr reported that Nicole unfollowed Corey on social media on March 5, 2017. Their season ended on Sept. 21, 2016, which could mean that they broke up near that date. However, Nicole posted her first photo with now-fiancé Victor Arroyo on April 20, 2017. While a picture is worth a thousand words, following a social media trail isn't a surefire way to piece together a timeline, especially since people can delete posts.

The last photo Nicole has with Corey is from Halloween 2016, but it is not even a photo of just the two of them. Instead, they're posing with fellow Big Brother alum Paulie Calafiore. Meanwhile, the last photo Corey posted with Nicole is from Dec. 31, 2016. In the caption, he thanked Nicole for visiting him in Dallas, Texas. Nicole lives in Ubly, Mich., so, perhaps, long distance could have been a factor in their split.

As of this writing, the two of them haven't publicly addressed their breakup, which might mean there wasn't too much drama there. Regardless, it's unlikely fans will find out what happened since Nicole has moved on with Victor.

Nicole Franzel got engaged to Victor Arroyo

In September 2018, Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo appeared on Big Brother Season 20. Nicole thought that she was there to introduce a competition. However, Victor surprised her by proposing. "Nic, we met in the Big Brother house over two years ago," he said (via People). And right away, I thought you were the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, and I fell in love with your personality. We formed a friendship in the Big Brother house, but our friendship really blossomed outside in the real world."

He also revealed that they had their first kiss in New York and that's when he knew "[he] was in love." Even though that kiss wasn't filmed by BB cameras, it did have something to do with the show. In 2017, Victor told Entertainment Tonight, "Everything came together for the premiere of Big Brother 19, where we were in New York and we just clicked. From then on, it was, I guess it was a love story, and now she's my girlfriend." And soon, she will be his wife.

After initially postponing their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic, Nicole and Victor are set to tie the knot in November 2020, which has actually been a plot point on Big Brother 22. When Janelle Pierzina got evicted, Nicole told her, "I know you probably don't want to come to my wedding, so just don't worry about it." Let's hope the wedding itself is a shade-free, good time.
