The Truth About Megan Thee Stallion And Rihanna's Relationship

Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion continues to rise up the ranks of celebrity superstardom. Within the first year of her reign in hip hop, she landed hit records with top recording artists Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B. But one hitmaker who's missing from the list is the Bajan sensation, Rihanna. Amid Rih's hiatus from releasing new music, we haven't seen any musical relationship between the two recording artists. But, that doesn't mean they haven't found ways to make a connection.

With over 16 million Instagram followers, Meg earned her keep as one of Rih Rih's brand ambassadors for her Savage X Fenty brand. The "Savage" emcee often shares sultry photos on social media promoting Rih's expanding lingerie line. It's not a partnership just anyone can receive. But, between Meg's notorious twerking ability and her love for showing off her all-natural curves, it's only right to tap the "WAP" artist for an ambassador partnership.

Rihanna supported Meg after her injury

Over the course of her career, Rihanna has become known for advocacy for women's rights and social justice. The beauty and fashion mogul even went so far as to close out her 2018 New York Fashion Week show with a celebration of womanhood. So, when Megan Thee Stallion became the victim of an alleged shooting by rapper Tory Lanez in July 2020, Rihanna found it necessary to offer her support.

Shortly after undergoing surgery on her feet as a result of the violent encounter, the Fenty X Savage brand ambassador took to Instagram to share some photos modeling the line in addition to sharing the heartwarming gift Rihanna sent her. "Love y'all @savagexfenty @badgalriri 💙," Stallion captioned the photo slide. The first two photos served Meg's popular Tina Snow character known for her icy blonde wig, while the last photo showed Meg's hand holding a note signed by Rihanna and the Fenty Corp Team.

"Wishing you a full and speedy recovery, Meg!" the note read. "Just know you've got a whole crew over here sending good vibes your way! Love, Rihanna and the Fenty Corp Team." The touching gesture was a nod to Rihanna's respect and empathy for the rapper amid reports of her alleged dispute with Lanez.
