Mary Trump Issues A Bold Warning If Her Uncle Wins A Second Term

Donald Trump's niece, Mary Trump, sent shock waves through the United States with the publication of her book, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man. The book was published in July 2020. Donald responded to the book, saying in part (via Politico), "Mary Trump, a seldom seen niece who knows little about me, says untruthful things about my wonderful parents (who couldn't stand her!) and me, and violated her NDA."

In the time since, Mary — who is the daughter of the president's late brother, Fred Trump Jr. — has since been active in headlines, where she offered predictions of how Donald may react if he loses the 2020 presidential election, which remains undetermined at the time of reporting. She also jumped on Twitter during the vice presidential debates and showed no mercy.

But Mary weighed in on her uncle as the nation drew closer to Election Day. On Nov. 1, 2020, Mary joined MSNBC's show AM Joy and gave bold warnings about Donald. Mary told the network that she put together a "panel of experts" a few days before her interview and said that should Donald be re-elected, the United States could become an "authoritarian state." She called Trump "desperate" and gave more dire warnings. Here's what she said.

Mary Trump believes Donald Trump will create chaos

Mary Trump spoke with MSNBC's AM Joy on Nov. 1, 2020, offering some dire predictions of what could happen to the United States if Donald Trump wins the election and what could happen if he loses. Mary said (via Voz Wire), "I imagine [President Trump's] feeling quite desperate, as he should." She added, "We know he's going to lie."

"My concern," Mary went on, "is that he's going to do anything he can to alleviate that desperation and unfortunately, he has considerable power at his disposal in order to... create the kinds of chaos that are going to potentially put our elections in disarray." She claimed that, over his term, he's "done everything in his power to dismantle every institution that comprises this country and the bottom line is we are looking at an authoritarian state here if he's allowed to continue unimpeded."

While Mary called her uncle "desperate," she added, "He also understands that if he cannot get four more years in the Oval Office, there is a reckoning coming and he will avoid that at all costs." Mary thinks that if Donald loses, he could go to prison. She noted, "So, if he's going down, he's going to take us all down with him." In other words, should Trump lose, Mary believes he and his team will use the time between Election Day and the inauguration to "break as much stuff on the way out" as they can.

So that was Mary Trump's warning for the American people.
