Married At First Sight: How Deonna Is Dropping Hints About Her Pregnancy
Deonna McNeill and Greg Okotie went from coupled up strangers on Married at First Sight to expecting parents! Season 9's Deonna McNeill and Greg Okotie announced they were pregnant on Sept. 10, 2020, sharing sweet couple photos exclusively to People that featured Greg holding up a sign that read, "Okotie Party of 3." The two told the outlet, "We're excited to announce that we are expecting our first child! Deonna and Greg noted how they "can't wait to meet" their "little bundle of joy." Aw! One day later, the pair shared their big news to Instagram, with Greg writing, "Truly a blessing to be married to this woman and for her to carry our first of eight children... jk (maybe)."
Deonna and Greg tied the knot during their 2019 season of MAFS, meeting for the first time (yes) on their wedding day! Audiences followed the Charlotte, N.C.-based couple as they got to know each other and ultimately chose to stay together during the season finale. Each season jettisons viewers to a new city rife with marriage-ready singles carefully selected and paired up. Although Deonna was admittedly emotionally reserved, as she had been single for 10 years, Greg stayed patient as the couple went bowling, partook in a rustic group cabin retreat, and other fun activities. One commonality was that both were independently successful and homeowners. Now, they're enjoying a loving marriage, with a baby coming soon!

Deonna and Greg hosted a gender reveal party
So how have Married at First Sight's Deonna McNeill and Greg Okotie been keeping fans updated on their pregnancy? Well, in multiple, super-cute ways! The pair hosted a backyard gender reveal party in November 2020, with Deonna posting to Instagram a video of Greg playing golf with a "gender reveal" ball. Unfortunately, the camera cuts out before his swing, so fans must wait to find out the gender. "Greggie knocked it out of the park with this one," Deonna captioned the post. "Reveal to come..."
On Nov. 9, 2020, Deonna posted again to Instagram, this time sharing a baby bump selfie from the doctor's office. "#DoctorOfficeChronicles with #BabyO Waiting to be seen so we can go eat! I think we're gonna miss the Chick-fil-a breakfast cut off," she joked.
The MAFS duo first dropped pregnancy hints on the spin-off show, Couples' Cam. Deonna reportedly said she had "baby fever," and was getting Greg used to the idea. She even made her other half carry an actual baby doll around in preparation and strapped the toy to the backseat while the couple went on errands. Huh! Clearly, Greg didn't need much training as he and Deonna are now expecting! Somewhere, Pepper Schwartz is thrilled. We certainly can't wait to meet Baby O!
