Inside Chantel Everett's Tense Relationship With Her Sister-In-Law

Season 2 of The Family Chantel gives viewers a closer inside look into Chantel Everett's shady relationship with her husband's sister, Nicole Jimeno. The two have been at odds over Chantel's marriage to her husband Pedro Jimeno. After meeting the Dominican Republic native online and moving him to Atlanta on a 90-day visa, Chantel hit her family with news of their wedding plans on 90 Day Fiancé.

But, what was meant to be a dream turned into a nightmare over their feuding families. While Chantel's family believes Pedro used her to obtain U.S. citizenship, Pedro's family, particularly his sister Nicole, doesn't think Chantel is good enough for her brother and wants to see him marry a fellow Dominican. In Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé, Nicole even went as far as to try and set Pedro up with one of her friends. She recorded her friend Coraima "backing it up" on Pedro on the dance floor and purposely showed the video to Chantel in front of their family in an attempt to break up their marriage. But the drama didn't end there. Let's take a look.

Why Chantel says Nicole and her boyfriend are 'well-matched'

By Season 2 of The Family Chantel, Nicole Jimeno introduced her family to her new boyfriend Alejandro, who lives in New York City. Also a native to the Dominican Republic, but living in the U.S. on a green card that he obtained after marrying an American citizen, Alejandro soon revealed that he is still legally married to someone else. When Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett arrived in NYC to meet Alejandro face-to-face, Pedro was not impressed, CheatSheet reported.

Chantel was in support of her husband's criticisms, and she went on to admit that she isn't shocked that Nicole is dating a married man. She accused her sister-in-law of being just the type to break up a happy home. "I'm not surprised by Nicole's choice because it's just like her to try to ruin someone's marriage," Chantel revealed during her confessional. "I feel like they're well-matched. He's an adulterer, and she is going into this knowing that he's married. So they can do bad together." Yikes! So much for sisterly bonding.
