What Happened To Christina After Married At First Sight?

Christina Crochet and Henry Rodriguez's short-lived marriage appeared doomed from the start on Season 11 of Married at First Sight. After being matched by the show's experts and marrying on the same day they first met, the newlyweds were off to a rough start due to their wildly different personalities. Christina, given the title of the "Princess Bride," was noted for having a "sense of adventure," and Henry, the "Reserved Gentleman," was credited for having a "quiet strength and stability." Dr. Viviana Coles cited their "potential to have a beautiful union," with the hope that their differences "would bring out the best of each other." However, the exact opposite ended up happening.

Christina came off as being confrontational, with cameras capturing the two in heated debates about whether Henry was interested in the relationship. Although Henry assured her he wanted to make their marriage work, Christina continued to express her frustration with Henry's laidback persona. Things only got worse when Christina claimed to have received a text message that accused Henry of having a romantic relationship with one of his male friends. Henry denied the accusation and threw out the allegation that Christina had previously dated a married man. So yeah, MAFS fans weren't shocked when the two decided to get a divorce on Decision Day. "I'm just ready for this to be over," Christina tearfully told the experts during the October 2020 finale.

Considering Christina has been through a lot in 2020, it's understandable fans want to know where she is today — here's what we know.

Christina Crochet wanted a fresh start

During Decision Day, Christina Crochet revealed she had spent extended time in Mexico after her split with Henry Rodriguez. "I'm ready to move on and live my life healthy," she said with tears in her eyes. The flight attendant also expressed regret for publicly questioning Henry's sexuality. "I've apologized to him," she said. "I acknowledge the apology," Henry replied. "It may take some time to accept it. It was just a crappy thing to do."

At the time, fans assumed she traveled to Mexico to recollect herself following a tumultuous Married at First Sight experience. However, according to Screen Rant, Christina possibly spent time in the country to undergo cosmetic surgery. Photos of the TLC star taken after the show aired featured a seemingly slimmed-down Christina with straighter teeth, Soap Dirt reported. Of course, there's nothing wrong with a glow-up. Shine on, girl!

As for Christina's social media presence these days, she might have deactivated her Instagram account, Screen Rant noted. It also doesn't look like she's spending time with the other MAFS cast members — as of this writing, she hasn't appeared in any of their hangout pics since the reunion wrapped. Who knows, maybe Christina needs some alone time after the stress of filming — either way, she has plenty of fans out there who wish her the best.
