The Bachelorette: Blake Horstmann Shuts Down Becca Kufrin Rumors

As Bachelor Nation will surely recall, Blake Horstmann and Becca Kufrin almost got engaged on Season 14 of The Bachelorette in 2018. However, she chose Garrett Yrigoyen during the May 2018 finale, which left Blake heartbroken and in tears. Unfortunately, Becca and Garrett didn't last, and after months of speculation, in September 2020, Becca announced her broken engagement during The Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with co-host Rachel Lindsay. "After many conversations, we came to this decision. It wasn't something that we just arrived at one night," she explained at the time. "It wasn't based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else's opinions or comments. There's much more to it. To any relationship, there [are] a lot of layers, and it's not for me to divulge details. It's no one's business other than what I'm telling you right now."

As for Garrett, he has yet to address the split publicly as of this writing, but he has confirmed his new relationship with yoga instructor, Alex Farrar. The two went Instagram official on Oct. 31, 2020.

A few weeks later, fellow Bachelor Nation star Jason Tartick appeared on Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti's Almost Famous podcast, where he teased the idea of exes Becca and Blake possibly rekindling their romance. He called it a "full circle love story," and since then, there have been rumors the two might give their relationship another shot. Keep on scrolling to read what Blake had to say about the rumors surrounding his love life.

Becca Kufrin and Blake Horstmann have been in touch

Blake Horstmann broke his silence regarding the rumors that he's dating ex Becca Kufrin again. The reality star took to Instagram, per Us Weekly, to respond to a fan's question and confirmed that he and the former Bachelorette are just "friends." He also used the opportunity to tell everyone to give Becca a break, adding, "Let the woman be single for a while she don't need no damn man to be happy. She is living her best life."

In November 2020, he did admit that he and Becca have chatted a little bit following her split from Garrett Yrigoyen. "I told her I support her, and I hope she's doing well and everything, but it's just a friendship," he said during an appearance on the Almost Famous podcast. "We have a good relationship. I think, for the most part, we've been friendly the whole time since even the finale. There's never been any kind of weirdness between us."

Despite Blake's denial, a reconciliation between the two is always a possibility. Even host Chris Harrison thinks there's still a chance!
