The Talk Just Revealed Two New Co-Hosts
Throughout the daytime talk show's 11 seasons, The Talk has seen several co-hosts come and go. At the end of Season 10, Marie Osmond left the series after just one season to reportedly explore other opportunities. She replaced co-host and The Talk creator Sara Gilbert who exited the show after Season 9. During Season 11, Eve announced that she would be leaving the show at the end of 2020. She took Aisha Tyler's spot after Tyler exited the series following Season 7. Eve noted that she couldn't host the show from London, England, where she and her husband, Maximillion Cooper, are currently based and can't travel. That's a lot to keep up with, no?
Following The Talk's debut season — three of the six original co-hosts, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Holly Robinson Peete, and Leah Remini — left the show. Original host Julie Chen left the talker after Season 8, one week after her husband, Leslie Moonves, stepped down as CBS's chief executive after allegations of sexual harassment and assault, CNN reported. Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba was brought on to replace Chen in 2019.

Elaine Welteroth and Amanda Kloots join The Talk
On Dec. 1, 2020, Page Six reported that The Talk revealed who the show was bringing on to replace Marie Osmond and Eve — celebrity trainer Amanda Kloots and journalist Elaine Welteroth. Viewers of The Talk should be familiar with both women as they have appeared as guest co-hosts on multiple episodes in October and November 2020.
Kloots is a former Broadway dancer/Radio City Rockette who is now a fitness trainer. Her husband, Broadway actor Nick Cordero, died in July after a three-month hospitalization for the coronavirus — a battle Kloots chronicled via social media. "I am thrilled and honored to join this incredible cast and crew. From the very first time I guest co-hosted on The Talk, I knew I was among a very special group of people," she said in a statement, per Deadline. "I look forward to starting off the new year with honest and thought-provoking discussions, mixed with plenty of fun and laughter, too."
Welteroth, best known to reality-TV viewers as a Project Runway judge, is the former editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue. "I am beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the phenomenal women of The Talk," she said in a statement per Deadline. "They have each made me feel right at home alongside them on this incredible platform that cultivates connection, kindness and understanding when we all need it most. I look forward to learning from them and lending my perspective to conversations that build bridges in this singular time in our world."
