After being matched by the show's experts, Jamie expressed her doubts early on after realizing she wasn't that physically attracted to her new husband . "This is the worst feeling," she told producers of her wedding day. "Obviously I wasn't like 'what a knockout,'" she said while explaining her initial thoughts when laying eyes on Doug. "I couldn't help but look at his family because they were like beaming with huge smiles looking at me and I just happened to be not attracted to the guy."

Since proving the Married At First Sight doubters wrong, Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner have gone on to welcome two children together and relocate from New Jersey to Florida, as noted by Soap Dirt. In April 2020, the couple shared an adorable YouTube video that showed Jamie doing the "Baby Mama Dance" while pregnant with the couple's second child.
Since giving birth, Jamie has used her platform to promote body positivity to her fellow moms and women alike. "Our bodies have done something incredible and every roll, scar, stretch & sag tells a story of selflessness & love for our sweet babies," she captioned a November 2020 photo of her holding baby Hendrix Hehner while wearing only a bra and jeans. "We shouldn't want that to disappear, we should share it & wear it proudly.
With the family of four's move to the Sunshine State, Jamie shared a photo slide of the Hehners' beach-themed Christmas photoshoot in December 2020. "Holiday card photos look different this year," she captioned the slide of her, Doug, daughter Henley Grace Hehner, and baby Hendrix. "It's beginning to feel more like Christmas here in Sunny Florida!"
