The Untold Truth Of Chrishell Stause's Boyfriend, Keto Motsepe
It has been a bumpy road to love for Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, so fans could not be happier to see her swooning over a new boyfriend, Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Keo Motsepe. After a difficult year that included a painful divorce from This Is Us heartthrob Justin Hartley and losing both of her parents, everyone was genuinely rooting for Chrishell to find love and happiness. "I'm grateful. I had the best experience [on DWTS] but this to me is the coolest thing," Chrishell told DWTS season 29 winner Kailtyn Bristowe during an Instagram Live (via Entertainment Tonight). "I knew from my dance work I wasn't going to win a mirrorball from the beginning. But to have this come from it, I'm just very smitten."
Although it's still early in their relationship, fans can already tell the two are clearly great for each other and head over heels in love. Keo Motsepe is first Black and South African DWTS pro dancer
Keo Motsepe first joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars in 2014, becoming the show's first black pro dancer and the first from South Africa. Keo first started dancing at a very young age and knew he wanted to make a career out of it when he was just 7-years-old, per NPR. On top of being a dancer, he is also a South African prince — yes, you read that right. "My grandpa was a prince of a province back in South Africa," he told the outlet. "My dad declined the position and gave it to my uncle, his younger brother. But because I'm my dad's only son, I became a prince."
While Keo hasn't won the coveted Mirrorball Trophy yet, he won the greatest prize of all in season 29: Chrishell Stause's heart. Over the years, Keo has developed a close friendship with castmate Gleb Savchenko, reports House Beautiful, which is likely why he hung out with his season 29 partner, Chrishell, so often. Keo and Chrishell hit it off right away and confirmed their relationship via Instagram in early December 2020. Keo posted a selfie of them on his story and captioned it, "I will always make you smile" (per Entertainment Tonight). Fans who ship this couple hope that stays the case and love how happy they are together.
