Expert Makes Bold Claims About Tayshia Adams And Brendan Morais

Bachelorette fans began falling in love with the budding relationship between Tayshia Adams and Brendan Morais after they shared the first one-on-one date of Tayshia's season. The date took Tayshia and Brendan on a light-hearted horse ride around the La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, Calif., followed by an intimate dinner where the pair easilly opened up to one another.

The phlebotomist-turned-influencer and the commercial roofer hit it off and quickly connected after discovering they had both married young. Brendan said he married his high school sweetheart, and they simply fell out of love. "I didn't really know who I was without her and she didn't really know who she was without me," he confessed. Tayshia also opened up about her previous marriage, which she first revealed in 2019, as she competed on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor. She blamed cheating for the demise of her marriage, but her ex-husband has declared otherwise. The date also saw Tayshia blushing over her new beau, claiming that she was ready "to go home with" him, per People.

Tayshia and Brendan's romance has grown throughout the season, and their connection shined during their hometown date, ending with Tayshia admitting that she could see herself falling in love with him, per Entertainment Weekly. Many fans are behind Tayshia and Brendan's relationship, but that does not mean everyone thinks these two lovebirds are meant to be together. Nicki Swift spoke to a relationship expert who made some bold claims about the couple.

A relationship expert thinks Tayshia Adams belongs with a 'go-getter'

Even though The Bachelorette's Tayshia Adams admitted her instant connection to Brendan Morais, which has been evident throughout the season, Jaime Bronstein, LCSW, a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker who specializes in relationships, is not convinced Brendan embodies Tayshia's happily ever after. "It does seem like she might have a stronger connection with the other guys," she told Nicki Swift.

Bronstein thinks that, while they have an obvious bond, they couple would not mesh well in the real world. "Overall, it appears that Tayshia and Brendan have a connection on the show, but I don't see them being a couple 'in real life,' as Tayshia could get bored with Brendan," she speculated. "Brendan is very simple, which is a wonderful quality, but I see Tayshia with a guy who is more of a 'go-getter' in life, and it doesn't seem like Brendan has that energy about him," she added.

Additionally, Bronstein pointed to Brendan's lack of confidence in a final proposal as being a major red flag. During the Dec. 8, 2020 episode of The Bachelorette, Brendan hesitated while hooked up to a lie detector after being asked if he would be ready to propose to Tayshia. "I hope so," he nervously muttered. Despite her hesitations, however, Bronstein did not completely rule out the possibility of Brendan winning Tayshia's heart.

Has Tayshia Adams found the 'sweet soul' she has been looking for all along?

While she cannot see Tayshia Adams and Brendan Morais getting engaged by the finale of The Bachelorette, psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker Jaime Bronstein, LCSW admitted that anything can happen on the show. "I find these shows fascinating because what you see as the viewer is nowhere near knowing what's going on in the contestants and Bachelor/Bachelorette's heart," she explained to Nicki Swift. "Even though I wouldn't think that Tayshia and Brendan would be compatible together because they are just too different, it's evident that they have a connection. Only time will tell!" Bronstein also mentioned that, while Tayshia seems to want someone with a "sweet soul," she thinks each of the remaining men could fit that quality.

Tayshia has made her choices as the Bachelorette with great confidence so far, but her decisions have become more difficult as her group has dwindled. She is down to three men, and in the preview for finale week, Tayshia is seen both shocked, crying, and serious as her dad warns her to not make the "biggest mistake" of her life. Four hearts are on the line, and only two can end up together. Will Brendan be able to shake his jitters away or will Tayshia plan to walk down the aisle with another guy? As Bronstein said, only time will tell.
