"Ariana doesn't want to do another public relationship so she is trying to keep this one quiet, but she seems very happy with Dalton," an unnamed source said to People in March 2020, when the quarantine started and fans first caught on that Grande and Gomez were spending time together. It looks like their relationship has blossomed during the pandemic, with Grande writing in her December 2020 Instagram post announcing the engagement that she plans to be with Gomez "forever n then some."
The relationship has moved quickly — they've reportedly been together for less than a year — but the two look super happy together. As the saying goes, when you know, you know!

"When she saw him, she immediately thought he was cute and very good-looking, and she asked her team to set up an in-person meeting with him. Ariana fell very hard for Dalton shortly after they met."
