Teresa Giudice Has Bold Words About Her New Boyfriend
Teresa Giudice, one of the core stars of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, has had a tumultuous few years. Teresa finalized her divorce from husband of twenty years, Joe Giudice, in September 2020, according to People.
The couple, who married in 1999, share four daughters: Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, per the outlet. Their family life was severely ruptured in July 2013 when both Teresa and Joe were indicted. They were charged with "exaggerating their income while applying for loans before RHONJ debuted, then hiding their improved fortunes in a bankruptcy filing," according to People. Joe also didn't file tax returns for several years.
In October 2014, the two pled guilty "to mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud" and both served their prison sentences. However, months before Joe's release, he faced immigration issues since he only had Italian citizenship, despite living in the United States since he was a kid. Despite his efforts to remain in the US near his children, Joe moved back to Italy and has remained there. With the physical division keeping them apart, as well as their stressful history with the law, Joe and Teresa's divorce didn't come as a huge surprise.

Teresa Giudice has found love again after finalizing her divorce from long term husband, Joe Giudice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star shared on Instagram a pic of herself with her new man, Luis "Louie" Ruelas. She captioned the photo: "The BEST thing that came out of 2020."
The news is exciting to everyone and the supportive comments reflect this enthusiasm. Teresa's RHONJ co-star Margaret Josephs commented on the photo: "You deserve all the happiness and love." Another co-star, Dina Manzo, wrote: "So so Happy for you." Dina got into a conversation with fans after someone brought up Joe and Dina graciously added, "I'm rooting for Joe too! He's going to find someone special too. They will always be family."
Teresa's new relationship is a hot topic among her co-stars, a topic that Margaret brought up again while she was talking on the podcast #NoFilter with Zack Peter on Dec. 23, 2020. Margaret said she has not yet met Louie but added, "We're making plans to eat dinner together in January." Margaret added that Louie is both handsome and wonderful and couldn't stop gushing about how happy she is for her friend. Teresa Giudice's new boyfriend, Luis "Louie" Ruelas, is an entrepreneur, according to Us Weekly, and is actually two years younger than his new girlfriend. Teresa and Louie have been spotted on date nights around New York, according to Page Six, showing some PDA and getting cuddly. They're a really good fit in terms of their families, too; Teresa has four children with her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, while Louie has two children, according to the outlet.
Shortly after Teresa shared her first picture of Louis on Dec. 22, 2020, she followed up with another photo of the two of them standing next to a Christmas tree. She added the caption: "It's OFFICIAL."
While the news is very exciting, it's actually been in the works for several months and Teresa spoke about her relationship with Andy Cohen on Nov. 22, 2020. "It's fairly new, so I'm taking things slow and we'll see where it goes from there," Teresa said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen (via Us Weekly.) Teresa isn't the only one who has a new relationship, however.
Joe Giudice is also dating
It's not just Teresa Giudice who has a new love. Joe Giudice opened up about his new relationship too with Wendy Williams on The Wendy Williams Show on Oct. 9, 2020. Joe dialed in from Italy to talk.
"I'm actually seeing a lawyer," Joe admitted. "She's helping out a lot out here, it's good because I have a lot of things going on out here and she's putting together a lot of deals for me. We've been seeing each other, you know what I mean? I wouldn't say that we're boyfriend, girlfriend, but we're kind of like hanging out a lot."
Wendy asked Joe if they had moved in together and he said 'no,' according to Us Weekly, so he's also keeping things slow. But that's exciting news for both Joe and Teresa and it seems like the former couple is moving on with their own lives following their split. Good for them!
