Jennifer Lopez Looks Completely Different Without Her Makeup In New Skincare Video
Jennifer Lopez might have a decades-long career, but she looks like she just started working last week. The multi-award winner is well known for her myriad of talents, including singing and acting, but also for her incredibly good skin.
As with any good-looking celebrity, everyone wants to know how exactly J. Lo got her glow! According to the artist, it's not with expensive injections or pricy facials, rather its all thanks to natural skincare. "I haven't ever had Botox to this day," Lopez said on a Zoom call in December 2020 (via The Daily Mail). "I'm not that person. I don't have anything against people doing that; it's just not my thing. I'm more about a natural approach to skincare."
To be fair, everyone loves a natural approach to skincare, but when a wealthy celebrity tells you that's their secret, it's a little suspicious, right? Are we really supposed to believe that J.Lo's secret to great skin is just "minimal products," or "getting a full eight hours," or "drinking lots of water"? Apparently we are.
Lopez is so adamant about the benefits of skincare over injectables that she started her own skincare line and even (gasp!) bared her makeup-free face on Instagram to promote the products.

With the drama of 2020 finally in the past, Jennifer Lopez decided that 2021 was the perfect time to launch her new beauty line and reveal her makeup-free face to the world. The star took to Instagram on Jan. 3, 2021 to promote her products. "We're fresh-faced for 2021 after yesterday's #WashAway2020 event. I cannot believe that @jlobeauty is available now," she wrote. "It's been years in the making, and it's finally here. We've spent hundreds of rounds of testing products and formulations... all to make sure we created the perfect products for YOU to get THAT GLOW!!!"
In the beginning of the video, Lopez appeared on camera in a full face of makeup, having just come from a performance, but removed it and began doing her nightly skincare routine. The star's skincare secret? JLo Beauty, of course. How did she look without all the makeup? We have to admit: She looked great. Even with a smudge of eyeliner (which any woman will tell you can be tricky to remove), J. Lo still looked years younger than she actually is. She's 51, FYI.
"I have more glow bare skin than I did when I had the makeup on," she said while promoting her products. "And my mission with JLo Beauty to make you feel beautiful in your own skin." If that isn't enough reason to order her beauty products, we don't know what is.
