Everything We Know About Bachelor Nation's Bri Stauss And Chris Watson's Split

The start of 2021 has been a heartbreaking time for Bachelor Nation. First, on Dec. 31, 2020, Season 24 Bachelor Peter Weber took to Instagram to reveal that he and Kelly Flanagan had broken up after reconnecting in March 2020 following the end of his season, per US Weekly. Kelley confirmed the breakup on her Instagram on Jan. 3, 2021. Then, after a magnetic connection and history-making engagement on Season 16 of The Bachelorette, Dale Moss and Clare Crawley split in January 2021.

Now, Bri Stauss and Chris Watson have become the third franchise couple to break up at the start of 2021. The pair met on the first season of the Bachelor spin-off Listen to Your Heart, which premiered in April 2020. The show is a passion-filled, musical journey where people hoping to get a break in the entertainment industry are challenged to find love and perform covers with their partners. Bri and Chris hit it off the first night of the reality show and proved their vocal chops and strong bond throughout the season before going on to win the whole competition, per Screen Rant

The couple went on to release an album titled Chris and Bri, which included five original songs and five passionate covers. They were supposed to go on tour together, but it was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The loved up songbirds seemed as strong as can be, which is why fans were shocked when they announced the breakup. As the saying goes: Everything happens in threes. Bri Stauss and Chris Watson still have love for each other

Bri Stauss and Chris Watson posted a joint statement to their Instagram accounts on Jan. 19, 2021, to publicly announce their breakup. "It pains us to say this, but we have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways," the announcement read

It continued, "We met and fell in love in the most beautiful and unique way, and because of that, we have a special bond that we will cherish forever. Thank you for the love and support to our fans, friends, family, and in particular, Bachelor Nation. You made this entire experience so special and unforgettable."
