Who Is Cheyenne Floyd's Boyfriend, Zach Davis?
Teen Mom OG's Cheyenne Floyd is kicking off the new season on Jan. 26, 2021 with a new old boyfriend and a baby boy on the way. The MTV star, who shares 3-year-old daughter Ryder with ex-boyfriend Cory Wharton, confirmed she reconnected with her former flame, Zach Davis, in October 2020. A few months later, the couple shared via Instagram that they're expecting their first child — a son named Ace Harold — together. According to Hollywood Life, Cheyenne and Zach's relationship was shown briefly on Teen Mom OG in 2018, including their fight about her bond with Cory, which ultimately led to their breakup.
In an interview with E! News, Cheyenne opened up about her reconciliation with Zach and why this time is different. "He slid into those DMs," Cheyenne told the outlet. "That's how all of this started. We reconnected and it was a slow reconnection, a lot of talking over food. That was the way to my heart again." She added, "We always seemed to click whenever we get back together and this time, we made a promise to ourselves to make it work."

Zach Davis has a special bond with Cheyenne Floyd's daughter
Cheyenne Floyd told E! News that introducing boyfriend Zach Davis to her 3-year-old daughter, Ryder, was so effortless. "He just jumped in and she was like, 'Let's play!'" she recalled. "She liked him from the beginning. The Teen Mom star explained how her life has come full circle, adding, "Zach and I dated when I was pregnant with Ryder. Ryder is going to be four this year and now we're expecting a baby. It's definitely an overwhelming feeling sometimes."
Meanwhile, Zach is excited about becoming a father. In his baby announcement post, he shared how happy he is to have a family of his own. "This has been the biggest blessing in the smallest package," he wrote on Instagram. "If you know me, you know my life revolves around family. I am beyond excited to start my own with the woman I love." He continued, "Chey, I love watching you with Ryder... you are nothing but an amazing mother. Ryder is the best little girl anyone can ask for and I look forward to seeing her become a big sister (again). I love you both.... I'm a f***ing father!!"
The couple hopes to get married soon
Teen Mom's Cheyenne Floyd said that marriage is definitely something she and Zach Davis have talked about since getting back together. However, they've decided to hold off on their wedding plans until the pandemic is over. "I know we would have loved to get married this year, but with COVID and stuff [we couldn't]," she told Us Weekly. "We both come from really big families that are really involved with us. We tried to figure out, like, some form or fashion of what we could do, and it just wasn't going to work to our standards or what we wanted and having our families there. So we're just gonna wait until it's safe to do so."
One thing is for sure: The couple is rock solid. "Honestly, Zach and I have gone back and forth with dating since I was a senior in high school. So I think it was just, like, meant to be," Cheyenne explained. "Finally, we just looked at each other and were, like, 'Okay, I guess we gotta make it work this time.'"
