Bling Empire's Andrew Gray Finally Opens Up About Breakup With Kelly

If you were rooting for Andrew Gray and Kelly Mi Li on Bling Empire, you weren't alone. Although the couple had a rocky relationship, as depicted on the hit Netflix reality show, many fans hoped that things would work out between them. Hearts were broken when the two broke up during filming, but now we have good news! After being apart for five or six months, Andrew and Kelly are back together!

Andrew wrote a lengthy Instagram post about their breakup and makeup. At first, the post is directed at Kelly, saying how he's just as in love with her as ever: "The first moment I saw you, you completely took my breath away. You had me in the palm of your hands and still do. Almost 6 years later, my heart still skips a beat every time you walk in the room," he wrote. He goes on to praise her kindness, patience, grace, and "passionate endless love" for him.

Andrew then gets to the nitty-gritty, addressing the issues that caused the duo to split in the first place — and how he and Kelly were able to reconcile. Keep reading for all the details.

Andrew Gray dealt with 'unresolved trauma' after the split

Andrew Gray states in his Instagram post that "living through a breakup and one of the darkest times of our lives, especially on international television, was not easy." At one point on Bling Empire, he and girlfriend Kelly Mi Li have a big fight in Paris, with Andrew yelling at her in an alarming way. They broke up shortly after that altercation. He addresses that incident in his recent post and says he was full of anger, insecurity, and unresolved trauma at the time. "We had to break up, we had to break the cycle," he wrote.

Andrew explains that he sought therapy and also spent time "researching, reading, understanding new ways of being, [and] letting go. ... The work has been tremendously exhausting and I still have work to do but I know you/we are worth it, our love is worth it. ... You make me want to be a better human being." He also used his social media post to thank others who have supported him and Kelly through their journey, including their friends, castmates, and Bling Empire producer Jeff Jenkins — "aka my 'brother.'"

He signs off with sage advice for anyone dealing with mental health issues, singing the praises of therapy. "Mental health is wealth. ... Trauma not transformed will be transmitted. Please create a plan to get healthy, let go of fear, and live in abundance. Love is the key."
