Before Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fame, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin were a staple amongst Hollywood's most successful couples. Their love story supposedly began as a love rectangle involving Harry Hamlin, his second wife Nicolette Sheridan, and her alleged affair with Michael Bolton, which Rinna says led to their divorce. Rinna has joked that Sheridan's alleged infidelity opened the way for her to marry Hamlin in 1997.

Now, two decades later, Rinna and Hamlin are as strong as ever. Their two daughters Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray have launched successful modeling careers, while proud parents Rinna and Hamlin continue giving glimpses into their love story on RHOBH. Even through rumors of infidelity by former Housewives costar Kim Richards, Rinna stands by her husband. Rinna joked on Live! With Kelly and Ryan in 2019 that celebrating over 20 years of marriage is akin to a 150 year anniversary in Hollywood.

Hamlin similarly opened up to Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest about what makes their marriage work. "We really respect each other, we listen to each other, we're great friends, and we really like each other. Also, there's a thing called sex. You know, it kind of plays into the whole thing," Hamlin joked in a clip, before saying he and wife Rinna are "absolute 100 percent opposites" when it comes to their personality types.

Well, they're proof that opposites attract. So much so, that Rinna and Hamlin even had their own reality spinoff about their marriage. Keep scrolling to find out everything about their failed series, and why maybe its cancellation strengthened their relationship!

Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin had their own TV Land docuseries

Once upon a time in a not-so-distant past, lovebirds Lisa Rinna and husband Harry Hamlin were stars of their own TV Land docuseries, Harry Loves Lisa. In 2010, their short-lived spinoff lasted only six episodes. Per BustleHarry Loves Lisa took a sitcom Newlyweds-style approach to documenting their lives in Los Angeles. The overarching theme of Rinna and Hamlin's marriage being the "exception" to Hollywood's fleeting romances was apparently visible throughout the brief series, as well as reminders that outgoing Rinna was starkly different from reserved Hamlin.

From meeting with marriage counselors and psychics to parenting daughters Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray, the 2010 series encompassed an array of hot-button topics during its brief time on air. Even better? Stars Lara Spencer, Ed Begley Jr., and Rinna's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills nemesis Denise Richards made appearances. While Variety criticized the show's "heavily staged episodes," fans clamored to Amazon Prime Video to view the so-called "comedic docu-soap," per the official series description.

However, when the reality cameras came calling again as Rinna joined RHOBH, Hamlin had his doubts. He even admitted to Watch What Happens Live! host Andy Cohen that his "divorce lawyer [was] on speed dial" in 2019. Cohen urged Hamlin to speak with Real Housewives of New York powerhouse Bethenny Frankel about the business opportunities that come with exposure on the franchise, and that seemed to seal the deal.

Looks like Rinna and Hamlin will keep sharing their love to reality TV audiences everywhere!
