Alaskan Bush People's Bear Brown Makes Big Announcement About His Relationship

Big news for Alaskan Bush People's Bear Brown. For those who have been following his story, Bear has had a long journey with Raiven Adams, certainly with a few controversial moments along the way.

But first, let's backtrack. The pair met at the August 2018 wedding of Bear's brother, Noah Brown, according to In Touch Weekly. They publicly confirmed their relationship in July 2019 and promptly announced their engagement in August of the same year. There were abrupt turns for the couple, though. In September 2019, Bear and Raiven shared the news they had split up, per In Touch. Then, two days after this news, Raiven confirmed she was pregnant. Bear said about the development, according to People, "Even though we're no longer together, we're still friends and dedicated to raising a healthy and happy child."

Raiven gave birth to their son, River, in March 2020, per In Touch. There was a bit of drama between the two during this time, including Raiven's allegations of abuse against the ABPB star. Bear also claimed he didn't get to meet his son right away due to the coronavirus pandemic, while Raiven alleged her ex showed little interest in forming a relationship. Then Bear took a paternity test to establish himself as River's father, and he met his child soon after. Cut to September 2020, Bear and Raiven shared the news that they got back together, and in February 2021, they made another big announcement. We reveal what that development is below.

Bear Brown is going to be a married man

Bear Brown of Alaskan Bush People broke some big news on Feb. 5, 2021. The woodland adventurer jumped on Instagram and posted a selfie with Raiven Adams and their son, River. He added the caption, per People, "Hey everybody! I wanted to let y'all guys know, that very soon I will be a married man!!!! Be sure to check out the new season of Alaskan Bush People and all your questions will be answered!!!! Thank you everyone for all your support!!!! God bless!!!"

One fan commented, "That's awesome you guys worked it out! I'm happy for your boy most of all! Congrats!" It might not come as a huge shock, especially since Bear has been busy sharing tons of adorable pics of Raiven and River on his social media, including a precious shot of Raiven holding River on his first sled ride.

As In Touch Weekly noted, things are seemingly better between Bear and Raiven as they move forward. Only time will tell if they do end up tying the knot.
