The Real Reason Olivia Wilde Just Had To Move In With Ex Jason Sudeikis

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis used to be considered one of Hollywood's cutest couples, but things obviously changed when the former pair split in early 2020. The Tron: Legacy star and the We're The Millers actor called off their engagement after nearly seven years and two kids together. "The split happened at the beginning of the year," a source told People in November 2020. "It's been amicable and they've transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family's relationship."

Though Wilde and Sudeikis went their separate ways after being engaged since January 2013 (via Us Weekly), the Horrible Bosses actor was hoping to rekindle his relationship with the mother of their two kids, Otis and Daisy. "There is still a lot of love there, and he would like to have hope that maybe there's a way for them to repair things," the separate insider told People. "But what happens next remains to be seen."

Sudeikis might be out of luck, though, as Wilde has been getting close to Harry Styles, who she met on the set of Don't Worry Darling. After the couple was spotted holding hands at a friend's wedding in Montecito, Calif. in January 2021, a third source told People that Wilde and Styles have been dating "for a few weeks" now.

It seems it might be a little while, however, before Wilde sees her man, as she is reportedly quarantining with Sudeikis. Keep scrolling to find out why.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are prioritizing their kids

Things have been steaming up for new Hollywood couple Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles, but the two were forced to put a pause on their romance as the Booksmart director is currently quarantining with her ex, Jason Sudeikis. In late February 2021, the Mail on Sunday reported the exes "have formed a bubble" so Wilde could spend time with their two kids, Otis and Daisy.

According to the outlet, Wilde and Styles jetted off to the U.K. from Los Angeles in mid-February 2021 so that she could see her children while Sudeikis films Ted Lasso. In order for the doting mom to safely spend time with her family amid the coronavirus pandemic, Wilde and Sudeikis have temporarily moved into a mansion together in South-West London area, while Styles is staying elsewhere.

Considering "things have moved fast between" the Don't Worry Darling director and the "Watermelon Sugar" singer, the situation between Wilde and Sudeikis "all seems a bit awkward," an insider told The Mail on Sunday. "[This] must be strange, but how nice they are doing it for the kids... You'd think it's all quite difficult."

From the moment Wilde and Sudeikis went their separate ways, the two vowed to put their kids, Otis and Daisy, first despite ending their romance. "The children are the priority and the heart of the family's relationship," an insider told People at the time they split in November 2020. Talk about co-parenting goals!
