Selena Gomez is clearing the air surrounding those dating rumors between her and Aaron Dominguez. The actors have been seen filming their upcoming Hulu comedy series Only Murders in the Building in New York City, and they got photographed in a seemingly cozy moment.
However, it seems that those photos of her hanging onto Dominguez's arms are solely for the movie because Gomez just nixed any rumors that she is in a relationship. "We had just started working together," Gomez told the Los Angeles Times in an article published on March 11, 2021. "I honestly thought, 'No wonder guys don't want to date me!'" Reflecting on the unavoidable dating rumors that have brought her name into headlines her entire adult career, she continued, "I think people only care because I'm young, and the older I get the less they'll care. For now it's a part of the job that I don't really like." Further addressing the rumors, Gomez gave an update on her love life. "I'm actually grateful that I'm not involved with anyone right now," she said.

Consequently, she flipped them off and was recorded calling them a not-so-pleasant word.
In the March 11 interview with the LA Times, Gomez reflected on the heated moment. "Somebody was being disrespectful and I don't do well with that," she explained. "Look, I am a very modest person, until you disrespect people." She continued. "Maybe [it wasn't] my best moment, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. And I felt very OK with being like ... 'Don't talk to people that way!'"
