The Celebrity Kim Kardashian Fangirled Over

Kim Kardashian is a lot of things — a stylish mother of four, one of the largest reality television stars, and the founder of the shapewear brand SKIMS. Kim is also a huge fan of Martha Stewart.

In a March 15, 2021, interview for Vogue's Good Morning Vogue, the reality star opened up about her obsession with Stewart.

"I'll never forget. I'm obsessed with Martha Stewart. So I was walking in New York and I hear, 'Kim! Kim!' And I turn around and she's like, 'I just need SKIMS. I love it!'" Kim said.

After finding out that Stewart swore by the shapewear, Kim couldn't contain her excitement. "I was like, anything for you! It was just such a proud moment that Martha Stewart wanted SKIMS," she said.

Though Kim's deep love for Stewart might seem as odd as Stewart's friendship with Snoop Dogg, Kim has actually admired Stewart for years.

Kim Kardashian has long been a fan of Martha Stewart

By 2012, Kim Kardashian was already a household name. However, it wasn't until the White House Correspondents Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., that Kim met her longtime "inspiration."

In an interview with Us Weekly in 2012, Kardashian recalled memories from the dinner. "I think the highlight of my night was meeting Martha Stewart," Kim said. "She is such an inspiration to me! Mrs. Connecticut!"

In 2020, it was announced that Kim might've taken her love for Stewart to the next level, according to Vanity Fair. The reality star was looking to expand her entrepreneurial portfolio to include home goods. In documents filed by the star's lawyers at the end of August, she was to trademark the name "KKW Home." The documents stated that she was looking to lock down the brand name and apply it to products, such as towels, linens, blankets, draper, candles, fragrances, furnishings, and other accessories.

Personally, we can't wait to see what a home goods line developed by Kim would look like. Hopefully, the goods will take after her own home, which she described as a "Minimal Monastery" in an interview with Vogue, and the line will include arrays of nude and beige tones so we can have that signature sleek and stylish look she's known for. Who knows, maybe Kim and Martha Stewart could collaborate on her line of home goods together.
