The Truth About Wyatt Russell's Relationship With Kate Hudson

Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are perhaps one of the first Hollywood couples to prove their commitment to one another without a white wedding. Despite forgoing their I dos, they have shown their commitment to one another since the 1980s, per The Oprah Magazine. Their devotion to their relationship came with blending their families and welcoming a baby of their own, Wyatt Russell. Prior to Hawn's relationship with Russell, she was married to actor Bill Hudson and the exes share two children together — Oliver and Kate Hudson. As for Russell, he shares son Boston Russell with ex-wife Susan Hubley.

But while we know half-siblings can sometimes have their beef, it doesn't look like the Russell-Hudson kids will be having a Kardashian-Jenner standoff anytime soon. In fact, the Almost Famous actor praised her brother Wyatt, who's set to star in Disney +'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, following the news of his first baby with wife Meredith Hagner. Kate Hudson is a proud big sister

While we know Kate Hudson and brother Oliver are awfully close on account of their Sibling Revelry podcast, she proved she is just as tight with her younger brother, Wyatt Russell, when she congratulated the then-soon-to-be dad. "Celebrating our next family member today," Hudson wrote on an Instagram photo of her kissing her sister-in-law Meredith Hagner's growing belly in November 2020. "First for my bro Wy and @merediththeweasel We are over the moon and can't wait!!!!"

Since then, the couple announced the arrival of baby No. 1 along with photos from their maternity spread in the April 2021 issue of Vogue. "VOGUE, BABY! And right after these photos we HAD A BABY, BABY! April issue of @voguemagazine in our van, Carnella, which we lived in for a big chunk of my pregnancy," the new mama wrote on Instagram. "2 weeks after these photos were taken we welcomed the heavenly Buddy Prine Russell into the world! It's been nothing short of magic." Of course, Hudson took to the comments, writing, "Aw!" with a few red heart emojis. It sounds like she thrilled to be an aunt!
