Although it may seem like a long time ago now, from 1993 to 1997, the star was married to now-retired professional baseball player David Justice, according to Page Six. She then went on to tie the knot with singer-songwriter Eric Benét. Unfortunately for hopeful romantics, their marriage only lasted from 2001 to 2005. Granted, those weren't the only relationships that didn't work out for the Oscar-winning star. From 2005 to 2010, she was in a relationship with model Gabriel Aubry, who is the father of her daughter Nahla, and from 2013 to 2016, she was married to the father of her son Maceo, actor Olivier Martinez.

When Halle Berry wrote a special message on Instagram for Valentine's Day in 2021 that was inspired by her relationship with Van Hunt, he felt like it showed something about the star that not many people may be aware of. "It was well written, which at least that's what I like to acknowledge because I don't know that people know that side of her because she can write as well," he told Entertainment Tonight the following March. He added, "You guys are gonna be surprised at all the things that she can do. Yeah, I can't tell anymore than that but you gonna be surprised."
And that's not all that Hunt had to say about Berry. When the singer was asked if his girlfriend has had any influence on the music that he had been making, he admitted, "In more ways than I can even tell you right now." Noting that he'd reveal what he meant soon enough, the father of a son from a previous relationship, per Page Six, explained to ET, "The inspiration for our relationship goes across everything, even in my parenting. I'm a completely different person, I can say it like that, and I think that it's improved every aspect of my life."
It certainly sounds like this pair might have what it takes to make it in the long-run.
