Why Olivia Wilde And Jason Sudeikis Were Just Granted A Restraining Order

Both Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are famous in their own right. He's landed gigs in movies like 2011's Horrible Bosses and 2013's We're the Millers, as well as shows like The Last Man on Earth and Ted Lasso, per IMDb. As for Wilde, you may have watched her on House before she turned up in roles in 2011's Cowboys & Aliens and 2015's The Lazarus Effect. However, the pair are also known for making headlines thanks to their personal life. While the two split up in November 2020, Wilde's continued to make headlines thanks to her relationship with Harry Styles while Sudeikis has been seen spending time with a certain British model.

However, the former couple ended up finding themselves facing a rather scary situation together in 2021. In fact, the circumstance that they were in was so concerning, that the stars were granted a restraining order to help protect them and their family. But who was the restraining order against? Read on to find out.

Olivia Wilde's stalker had something to say about Harry Styles

Olivia Wilde may be willing to open up about Harry Styles, however, not everyone is happy about the possible romantic relationship. According to TMZ, she claims that a man named Eric Nathanial Fuhs had spent months "showing up at her home, imagining he's her boyfriend, and venting his frustration over Harry Styles." As a result, Wilde — who, as of this writing, still lives with her ex, Jason Sudeikis, along with their two children — "got a temporary restraining order ... to protect her and her family."

TMZ was able to obtain more information about the terrifying situation after Wilde's lawyer, Shawn Holley, took the issue to court in April 2021. Apparently, in the legal documents that were filed, the star claims that Fuhs "initially barged in on a private Zoom call" before starting to "[show] up to her home on multiple occasions to leave notes falsely claiming they're in a relationship."

In one message that he left directly for Sudeikis, Fuhs allegedly wrote that Wilde "was unhappy in her relationship," and "wanted to start a new relationship with" him. He added, "Harry Styles got credit for what I was doing." On top of that (as if that wasn't enough!), Fuhs also wrote, "I, as of March 19, 2021, am now struggling to stay sane whilst being hidden."

In turn, a judge put a temporary restraining order in place that says Fuhs has to stay at least 100 yards away from Wilde, Sudeikis, and their children.
