The Truth About Clyde From Married At First Sight: Unmatchables

There's a new show on reality television that was piqued the interest of many — Married at First Sight: Unmatchables. The show is a spinoff of Lifetime's hit series, Married at First Sight, which follows couples who meet for the first time when they walk down the aisle (after they are matched by experts, of course). According to the network, the show will follow along the same theme as the first, but the casting is slightly different. More than 65,000 people applied to be on the show, but some personalities are more challenging to match than others. That's where the new spinoff comes into play.

"Everyone deserves a chance at love, so the new series helps polish up the diamonds in the rough, providing them with strong relationship advice and a lifestyle overhaul to give them an opportunity to shed what's been stalling real romantic connections in their lives," the website reads. "In each self-contained episode, Pastor Calvin Robertson and Dr. Viviana Coles will mentor two unlucky-in-love singles who they couldn't match and follow as they go through their physical and personal transformations, as they are set up on a date to see if love is in the air and if they have truly found their match."

It sounds like it's going to be a must-watch for anyone who loves Married at First Sight and The Bachelor, but who's in the cast? Keep scrolling for more details about one potential suitor.

Get to know Clyde

One of the new reality stars that fans will get to know on the Lifetime series Married at First Sight: Unmatchables is Clyde. According to The Ashleys Reality Roundup, Clyde is a 30-year-old who values cleanliness above all. His friends call him a "clean freak" who hopes to find a lady who keeps her house in tip-top shape, and it's a plus if her floor is clean enough to eat off of (we'll have some floor pasta, STAT, please). The show also describes him as a "lovable dork," and we are really hoping that the experts can do their part and find him the woman of his dreams, but his obsessive behaviors will make things a little bit trickier.

According to Reality TV World, all of the couples that will be featured on the show are from the Atlanta, Ga. area. Pastor Calvin Robertson and Dr. Viviana Coles will mentor the singles in each episode, hoping that they will put their newly-learned skills to the test while on dates. Each of the participants applied for a previous season of Married at First Sight, but experts could not match them. The other men who will participate in the series include Brandon, Caleb, Chaz, Ervin, Frank, Niraj, Sam, and Xavius. Here's hoping that these men find love on television because the track record has not always been great.
