The Truth About The Bachelorette's Austin Tinsley
The upcoming season of "The Bachelorette" started shooting in late March 2021, according to the man that knows all things Bachelor Nation: Reality Steve. You know what that means — there's tea to be spilled about the men Katie Thurston has to choose from as the Bachelorette. Reality Steve also revealed (via Twitter) that the co-hosts for the new season of "The Bachelorette" are former Bachelor Nation contestants Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams. Chris Harrison, of course, is stepping aside from the franchise for the time being, per Glamour.
Reality Steve also disclosed that all the men and Katie are quarantining in Albuquerque, N.M., where filming for the season began. Katie will have a smorgasbord of men to choose from in her season. We're focusing on Austin Tinsley this week. According to his LinkedIn, Tinsley is a 25-year-old former NCAA Division 1 athlete in track and field from Sacramento State University. He's from Orange County, Calif. His LinkedIn profile doesn't list his employment, but does indicate an interest in real estate investing.
Here's everything else we know so far about "Bachelorette" contestant Austin Tinsley.
Here's why Austin may be a great fit for Katie
"The Bachelorette" contestants have already locked down their social media, so besides Reality Steve, there's not a ton of spoilers out there just yet. However, Austin Tinsley's college athletic profile is still up at Sacramento State, which reveals he attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Mission Viejo. The NFL's Carson Palmer and pro soccer's Amy Rodriguez are also alums of his high school.
Marie Claire shared a cute photo of Tinsley with the same information as Reality Steve and LinkedIn have. Tinsley's LinkedIn headline reads, "Bridging the Gap between Technology, Communication and everything in between." If he is into real estate investing, he could be a good match for Katie Thurston, who was a marketing manager at a bank prior to joining Bachelor Nation.
Katie's season of "The Bachelorette" is following the now-familiar quarantined bubble method of filming used on the last two seasons of the popular franchise. Rather than the mansion in Southern California, "The Bachelorette" will be filmed entirely at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa. There are currently 34 men listed for Katie's season, a few will not make it to the first episode. Additionally, all contestants will need to be COVID-19 negative to take part in the series, Heavy reports.
