The Golden Globe winner has appeared on sitcoms like The Conners and Dead To Me in addition to darker series Sons of Anarchy and Shameless per IMDb. Sagal debuted her own hard-hitting legal drama Rebel in 2021.
While Sagal has certainly got the married part down of her 80s onscreen persona Peggy Bundy, she also is a real-life mom to three kids. Sagal shares son Jackson James White and daughter Sarah Grace White with second husband Jack White (no, not that Jack White of the White Stripes), and welcomed daughter Esme Sutter via surrogacy with current husband Kurt Sutter in 2007, per Distractify.

Before Katey Sagal found love with Kurt Sutter, she had two rocky past relationships. However, there are conflicting reports that Sagal might have actually been married three times prior to her union to Sutter. After an alleged years-long romance with KISS frontman Gene Simmons, Sagal cut ties with the rocker to wed funk musician Freddie Beckmeier according to Sagal's memoir Grace Notes (as reported by WGRZ).
The couple divorced in 1981 after being married for four years. Rumor has it Sagal then tied the knot with another musician, Fred Lombardo, in 1986; they parted ways in 1989, per Glamour Path. Finally, Sagal seemed to settle down with drummer Jack White in 1990 and the two got married in 1993 via Daily Mail UK. After having two kids together, Sagal and White divorced in 2000.
Then the fates aligned for Sagal to cross paths with showrunner and producer Sutter through mutual friends. Things didn't turn romantic until after Sagal sought treatment for substance abuse according to The Things, but they made it official in 2004. And the rest they say is history!
