Inside Kailyn Lowry's Relationship With Chris Lopez Today
Kailyn Lowry has been a reality television personality since she starred on MTV's "16 & Pregnant" in 2009. Back then, she was pregnant with her first child, Isaac, with her ex-boyfriend Jonathan "Jo" Rivera. From there, she moved on to star in "Teen Mom 2," for 10 seasons, per Us Weekly. In the past decade, Kailyn has had three more kids with two men, her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, and Chris Lopez, her longtime friend.
Kailyn specializes in complicated relationships. Her relationship with her oldest child's father, Jo, imploded with the stress of balancing their young lives and raising their child. They fought constantly and eventually Kailyn moved out, per Us Weekly. During Season 4 of "Teen Mom 2," Kailyn started dating Javi. They got married on September 4, 2013, and Kailyn gave birth to their child, Lincoln, in November of that same year, per another Us Weekly report. They finalized their divorce in 2017, and later took lie detector tests because accusations of cheating were thrown around, according to InTouch Weekly.
And then there's Chris. The two first connected in 2016 and Kailyn quickly got pregnant with her third child, per Distractify. Their relationship was rocky from the get-go.
Since then, she's had another child with Chris. So where does Kailyn's relationship with Chris stand today?

Things with Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez have been up and down for years. Chris was arrested for allegedly choking her shortly after she got pregnant for the second time with him. She sought and obtained a restraining order against him, per Hollywood Gossip.
In January 2020, Chris was arrested for violating Kailyn's restraining order. He was charged with criminal contempt of a domestic violence protective order and released the same day after posting $5,000 bail. In fact, per The Ashleys Reality Roundup, this was the third time he was arrested for violating the protection order.
In July 2020, Kailyn gave birth to her fourth child and her second with Chris, a son named Creed. Unfortunately, by the time Creed was born, Kailyn and Chris were very much over.
In April 2021, rumors started flying that Kailyn was back together with Chris. In an interview with Hollywood Life, she said, "... no — we're co-parenting. That's it." Kailyn also revealed that Creed had just started going over to his father's house for visits.
