The Secret Hailey Bieber Kept From Her Parents
From a glimpse of Hailey Bieber's YouTube page, it is quite obvious that she isn't afraid to be an open book about her life — especially in an entertaining way. The model revealed juicy tidbits about a number of topics during a May 26 episode of her YouTube show "Who's In My Bathroom," which was produced by OBB Pictures. Playing a game of "Shoot or Truth" with Addison Rae (where the two shoot mini basketballs into a hoop), Hailey confessed that she kept a secret from her parents as a teen.
"When I was 16, I said I was going out with my sister, we were just going out to dinner," Bieber said. "We went to the Drake concert instead. They never found out for like years and then my sister and I ended up telling them when we were older. Sorry Mom and Dad." Seriously, could you blame her? Who would possibly miss a chance to see Drake in concert? The white lie Bieber confessed on her show is just one of the many she's told her parents in the past. In fact, she went on her first date with her husband Justin Bieber behind their back.

We all weren't "goody two shoes" as a kid, and neither was Hailey Bieber. Hailey is no stranger to dropping a white lie on her parents from time to time, as it is what ultimately led her to going on a date with her now-husband, Justin Bieber. During an episode of the couple's Facebook Watch series, "The Biebers on Watch," Hailey revealed that she snuck out to grab sushi with the "Yummy" singer in New York after her parents, Stephen and Kennya Baldwin, initially said no to the idea. "I called my parents to ask them if I could go and they said no," she confessed in May. "They were like 'Absolutely not, you're not going to hang out with Justin by yourself, that's not happening.'"
However, as any other hopeful teen that meets their celebrity crush would, a 17-year-old Hailey managed to finesse her parents with a cover-up story co-starring her older sister, Alaia. "My older sister kind of covered for me and was like, 'Oh yeah, she's gonna sleep over at my apartment and it's all good,'" she continued. "She covered for me and we went to dinner and didn't get caught." After enjoying conversation over sushi, Justin and Hailey 'went back to watch a movie' and were 'just hanging' when they kissed for the first time. From there on, it was history. Not all lies are good lies, but clearly this one guaranteed a "happily ever after" for the two lovebirds.
