When is the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Season 3 premiere?
Fans who are eagerly waiting for "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way" don't have to wait that long anymore. According to People, Season 3 of "The Other Way" premieres on TLC on August 29. The release date, fans will note, is later than previous seasons. Season 1 of the spinoff premiered in June 2019, whereas Season 2 premiered around the same time a year later (via IMDb).
The two-month delay could have a lot to do with the coronavirus pandemic throughout the past year, which limited visa processing and traveling in general, especially when it came to international border closures, according to CNN. Additionally, the U.S. Department of State didn't resume regular operations on documentation until August 2020, meaning that filming for the show could've been impacted because cast members could not travel to see their partners.
However, the pandemic could've also put this season's couples' relationships in jeopardy.
Who is in the cast of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Season 3?
Per TV Insider, Season 3 of "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way" features new and old faces. Kenneth and Armando, Jenny and Sumit, and Ariela and Biniyam are three couples from Season 2 returning to the show, in addition to Corey and Evelin from Season 1. The two new couples on Season 3 are Steven and Alina and Ellie and Victor.
According to the outlet, Steven and Alina are the youngest couple in this season of "The Other Way." Steven is a devout Mormon from Utah who met Alina, a Russian woman, on a language app. He decides to give up his life in America to be with Alina, but the coronavirus pandemic complicated things for him because of border closures. The young couple decided to get married in Turkey instead, but complications arise once Steven and Alina meet in person, leading them to second guess their future together.
The other new couple is Ellie and Victor who fell in love while on a trip in South America. Victor is originally from Cambodia and continued his long-distance relationship with Ellie for two years. Ellie left her life in Washington, D.C., to be with Victor on his Providencia island, but is met with trust issues, and a natural disaster after Hurricane Iota causes Ellie to lose communication to the love of her life.
It remains to be seen if the new couples will stay together, but there's hope for them judging from other couples.
Who's still together from 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Season 3?
While fans should be excited for the new couples joining Season 3 of "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way," it's also heartening to find out which of the previous season's couples' have stayed together.
Kenneth and Armando are still together and got married in Mexico in May 2021, per People. They also made history as the first gay couple on the reality show. Meanwhile, Sumit and Jenny are still together, and according to Screen Rant, have married in India. Jenny dropped the hint about marriage when she posted a video of a rock on her finger on Facebook in November 2020. And judging from her Instagram, Ariela is still in a relationship with Biniyam. The last couple, Evelin and Corey, whom we haven't seen since Season 1, are still together and recently celebrated their seventh anniversary in May (via Screen Rant).
