Brad Pitt Spent Time With Angelina Jolie And Kids In Cambodia
While Angelina Jolie was with her children on a humanitarian mission in Cambodia — and to promote her film First They Killed My Father (2017) — Brad Pitt was along for the trip.
A source told E! News that Pitt, 53, was with his children "most of the time except when it conflicted with his own shoot schedule."
A second insider said, "All through production and filming, and on her most recent press trip, Brad came to Cambodia in secret to spend time with the kids. They were with Angelina for probably 75 percent of the time when Brad was in the country and they'd go back and forth between her and Brad."
A source also noted that "some or all" of the kids would leave Cambodia to fly out to Los Angeles to spend time Pitt while Jolie, 41, was in the country. "He wasn't in Cambodia the entire time they filmed, but he made multiple trips there to spend time with the kids," the source said.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Jolie and Pitt are said to be getting along much better than they did in the contentious early days of their divorce.
"Things have calmed settled between Brad and Angelina. It's not as tense as it had been," a source previously told E! News. "They are focused on the kids and working to do what's best for them."
Sources also told Us Weekly, "They are in a place where they can put anger or hurt aside to focus on their children and how they plan to co-parent. It's been a difficult time for Angelina, and both are now willing to move forward and begin the next chapters of their lives ... They are only speaking about the kids, but have agreed that the kids' best interest comes first and that they will be civil to one another."
Jolie retains temporary sole physical custody of the couple's six children (Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8), though Pitt is fighting for joint custody after being cleared of child abuse allegations following an alleged incident with Maddox during a private flight. The estranged pair recently agreed to seal their custodial documents and keep the battle out of the press.
