Ant Anstead And Renee Zellweger Make Whirlwind Romance Official
Ant Anstead is taking his romance with Renee Zellweger to another level. In July, Anstead and Zellweger made headlines when they were spotted making out with each other (via Page Six). Fast forward a few weeks to early August when they attended their first Hollywood gala together as a couple, according to Entertainment Tonight. It's obvious the couple has seemingly fallen in love (and hard), and while they may be close now, Anstead was surprised about Zellweger when they first met on his new show, "Celebrity IOU: Joyride."
"Are you telling me that Bridget Jones — Renee Zellweger — isn't British?" Anstead asked co-host Cristy Lee on the Discovery+ show when Lee introduced Zellweger to him (via People). "You're like a dream crusher for me."
Accents aside, Anstead has gushed publicly about his now-girlfriend to USA Today, joking that Discovery+ was a good dating service, and that Zellweger's "private persona is actually really inspiring." The two clearly have the hots for each other, but nothing's official until it's on Instagram — and Anstead obviously got the memo.

On August 23, Ant Anstead posted a promotional selfie for the first episode of his new show "Celebrity IOU: Joyride," featuring himself, co-host Cristy Lee, and girlfriend Renee Zellweger on Instagram. Though the picture had an unexpected third wheeler in Lee, fans were quick to point out that this picture is a sign of the couple going official. "It's finally here...The first episode of #CelebrityIOUJoyride is available on @discoveryplus Monday the 23rd!!" Anstead captioned the photo. "And it's the incredibly magical Renee Zellweger."
Anstead seemed to pay special attention to Zellweger in the caption by calling her by her nickname. "Join @cristylee09 Ren and me as we pay it forward to two amazing men that gave so much to one of Ren's dearest and closest friends," he added.
While Zellweger has not yet publicly expressed her affection for Anstead — she doesn't have any official social media accounts — we are sure sparks will be flying all over the place throughout this new episode of "Celebrity IOU: Joyride."
