Prince Harry Will Feel Guilty If He Doesn't Do This Soon, Says Expert

There's no doubt that Prince Harry has always had a special and close relationship with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. In fact, no one can forget the spot Her Majesty did with her grandson for The Invictus Games, in which they playfully teased and challenged then-President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama. Elizabeth responded with an "Oh, really?" before Harry said "Boom!" while intimidating a mic drop. And while the Duke of Sussex might not be as close with the royal family as he was before, he did tell Oprah Winfrey during his bombshell of an interview that he now speaks to his grandmother more often than ever before. When asked if Megxit also came as a surprise for the queen, Harry responded (via People), "No, I never blindsided my grandmother. I have too much respect for her."

And even though Harry seemingly maintains an open line of communication with Her Majesty, one royal expert believes that he needs to act fast about one thing in particular. And if he doesn't do it soon, he might regret it. Here's what you need to know.

According to one royal expert and author, if Prince Harry doesn't act fast to introduce his daughter Lilibet Diana to Queen Elizabeth II, he might regret it. The queen has not seen Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie in person since 2019 and has yet to meet Lilibet, who was born in June. And now that the international borders are finally opening up again for fully-vaccinated travelers in both the US and the UK, royal observer Adam Helliker believes Harry and Meghan should make it a priority for their children to meet their great-grandmother.

"I think Harry will feel particularly guilty if she doesn't see the great-grandchildren she's not seen much of – or the great-granddaughter she's not seen at all," Helliker told The Sun. "I think if they're going to try to patch things up – and we all hope they will work to increase what remains of the unity between them and the family – then I think it's paramount that they start planning a trip for maybe early December."

So far the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not made any comments about their future travel plans, but it's safe to say that Harry probably wants his grandmother to see his two children. Now, whether or not the true spirit of the Christmas holiday will make that happen remains to be seen.
