Who Is Marc Anthony's New Girlfriend, Madu Nicola?
Not all Hollywood relationships end in nasty divorces and exhausting legal battles — and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are proof of that. The exes, who split in July 2011 after seven of marriage, have remained good friends as they co-parent their twins, Max and Emme. In fact, their relationship post-divorce is so amicable that the singer leaned on her ex-husband after she called it quits with Alex Rodriguez.
"Jennifer is doing well. She is still filming in the Dominican Republic. The kids have visited her and they make her the happiest," an insider told People. "Jennifer and Marc Anthony have a great relationship. Having Marc around while she has had to work abroad has been very comforting for Jennifer."
A few months later, Lopez reconnected with her former love, Ben Affleck, and the two have been going strong ever since. (They even made their red carpet debut as a couple again at the Venice Film Festival.) Then, on September 23, Anthony made a shocking red carpet appearance of his own when he showed up with a mystery woman on his arm at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Marc Anthony surprised fans everywhere when he arrived at this year's Billboard Latin Music Awards as he also confirmed his new romance with Madu Nicola. In photos published by the Daily Mail, the couple posed on the red carpet and showed off some major PDA which included a kiss on the lips.
The pair's debut was a pretty big shock given that Anthony has not mentioned nor posted about his new relationship on social media (her Instagram, to which the photo above she shared, is set to private). However, he seemed very excited to show off his new girlfriend for the first time as he kept Nicola very close to him all night. It's unclear when Anthony and his new lady love met or how long they've been dating, but a red carpet debut as a couple is a big step in a Hollywood relationship. Therefore, it's safe to assume the romance isn't simply a fling. It's also unknown whether Nicola has a connection to the entertainment industry, but there's definitely more to her story ...

Unfortunately, not much is known about Marc Anthony's new girlfriend, Madu Nicola, except that her private Instagram account boasts nearly 20k followers and counting since the big red carpet reveal. It seems like she may have made her profile private right before the awards ceremony as a celebrity makeup artist, Jamie Harper, reposted the young woman's look (seen in the earlier slide) via her Instagram Stories. In fact, she's the one who revealed Nicola's identity with the world.
Harper also shared footage of the couple kissing on the carpet, alongside the caption, "The night is young @latinbillboards ! Can't wait to see the performance!" For his part, the Latin singer didn't post anything publicly about Nicola, but he did post an image to Instagram of himself during the event.
As of right now, Nicola's job description is not available on the web and it's unknown how old or what ethnicity she is. However, one thing is for sure: It seems like Anthony wants to keep his new romance on the down-low as opposed to his past — and very high-profile — relationships.
