Love Island USA Season 4 - Here's What We Can Tell Fans So Far

The hottest show to hit the screens this summer was, without a doubt, "Love Island USA" Season 3. For those not in the know, "Love Island USA" is based on the British smash hit of the same name, in which a group of very attractive singles heads to a remote villa where they all isolate together. Throughout the season, they pair up and split up, with the goal of ending up with someone in the end. Producers routinely throw a wrench into those plans by plopping newer, hotter singles into the mix just as the newly formed couples get comfortable. Each week someone is voted out of the villa until, finally, one pair is left standing. If you make it to the very end, you get a new bae and the chance to walk away with $100,000.

Of course, there's more to "Love Island USA" than love and money. The seasons are also full of scandal, drama, and villainous contestants. And — spoiler alert — after watching Olivia Kaiser and Korey Gandy and walk away victorious at the end of Season 3 and Korey Gandy and walk away victorious at the end of Season 3, fans are eager for more. We got you: Read on to find out everything you need to know about "Love Island USA" Season 4.

When will Season 4 air?

First things first, when does "Love Island USA" come out? As far as we know, "Love Island USA" has yet to be renewed for a Season 4. Keep in mind that Season 3 was renewed in January, just a months after the final episode of Season 2 aired in September 2020. So, what does all this mean for Season 4?

The good news is there's no reason to panic. Season 3 was popular, and the finale aired just a few weeks ago. Most telling, however, is while it hasn't been "officially" renewed, it seems like the network did greenlight the new season since a sneaky little promo aired in a recent episode of "Big Brother," per Monsters and Critics.

As for when we can hope to see some new episodes of "Love Island USA," that's a trickier question. As we said, Season 3 got the green light in January, but episodes didn't air until July, per Bustle. That could be because COVID restrictions made filming difficult, or that could just be the network's timeline. Considering all of this, if "Love Island USA" is renewed for another season, we likely won't get any new episodes until spring of 2022, based on the previous filming timeline.

Who's in the cast?

For the next question on everyone's mind: who's in the cast? Sadly that's not an easy question to answer either. As you can probably guess, since the network only just tentatively announced a new season, we can't tell you who's going to make the cut.

Nevertheless, we've got some theories about who you might see in the next season and what might change. The original cast of "Love Island USA" Season 3 was great, but it was those who aired later in the season that became fan favorites — leading some theorists to suggest that in a hypothetical Season 4 would have a better-vetted cast, to ensure that those with the potential to become fan favorites were there from the very beginning, not just the second half of the season.

While we can't give you specifics on the cast of competitors, we can tell you that it's likely host Arielle Vandenberg will return to rule over the islanders for yet another season.

What else should fans know?

Finally, the most exciting bit of news we have for you about "Love Island USA" Season 4 is that you could actually be on it! Per the lil promo that CBS snuck in during the "Big Brother," they are actively looking to cast "Love Island USA" Season 4 as we speak. So, what exactly do you need to make to the villa, true love's embrace, and most importantly, $100,000?

A quick look at the application confirms that you must be at least 18 to apply, though based on how much alcohol the contestants drink, you probably wouldn't have much fun in the villa unless you were at least 21. Otherwise, the questions are pretty standard "what is the highest level of education completed?" and "occupation." The standards are mixed in with some more personal requests like information on whether or not you're single and if you are, how long your last relationship lasted and why it ended.

Long story short, if you can stomach all the personal questions and impress the producers, you too could have a shot at $100,000.
