Conrad Hilton To Be Released From Jail On One Condition
Conrad Hilton, younger brother to Paris and Nicky Hilton, is reportedly still in jail after a recent run-in with the law.
On May 6, 2017, Hilton, 23, was arrested for violating the restraining order his ex-girlfriend, Hunter Daily Salomon, filed against him and for grand theft auto, as police reportedly found him in a Bentley belonging to Salomon's father. A video was filmed of the arrest, and it does not show Hilton in a very positive light. In the footage obtained by TMZ, Hilton can be heard screaming homophobic and racist slurs at police officers. At one point, Hilton yells, "I'm Conrad motherf***ing Hilton, don't you forget it."
According to TMZ, bail has been set at $60,000. But his lawyer Robert Shapiro—yes, the same lawyer who famously defended O.J. Simpson—is reportedly asking for Hilton's release on the condition that his client only be let go if he agrees to visit a hospital so that doctors can examine him and potentially diagnose any conditions he may be suffering from.
Shapiro has allegedly referred to Hilton's behavior as "bizarre and unusual" and asks that he receives help.
And Shapiro's not the only person concerned about Hilton's mental state. Salomon's spoken out about her ex-boyfriend's current condition. "It can be scary," she told TMZ. "Because I don't think he's well in the head right now, so I don't know what a person can do when they are not mentally there."
Hopefully, Hilton can get the help he so clearly needs.
