Demi Lovato Confirms New Album To Be Released In 2017

Good news, Lovatics: New Demi tunes are heading your way.

While promoting her new line with Fabletics, Demi Lovato told Billboard that fans can expect to hear a lot more from her soon. "I'm releasing an album later this year," she said. "It's more soulful and I want to go more R&B with it."

Lovato, who recently broke up with MMA fighter Guilherme "Bomba" Vasconcelos, is apparently ready to make a big change. "I actually want to go a totally different way with my album," the 24-year-old announced (via People). "I want to go more soulful, so we'll see what that ends up turning out like. I'm still in the process of writing and finding the inspiration behind it, so we'll see."

We're all for hearing new music from the former Disney star—let's just hope no one accuses her of stealing from other musicians this time.
