Many of the actors we look up to can do so much more than convince us that they're other people on-screen. There are celebrities with talents so impressive that they might as well gain recognition for their secret abilities. For starters, did you know that Andrew Garfield used to be an accomplished gymnast before breaking into acting? He can probably do all the risky moves Spider-Man can execute without the help of CGI.

Or how about the fact that Margot Robbie used to be an amateur tattoo artist? She once said (via The Cut) that she's done nearly 50 tattoos on friends and colleagues, but she has since retired after a friend's mom scolded her for putting a tattoo on her friend the day before a big wedding.

While all these talents are undoubtedly impressive, no one could beat Angelina Jolie's hidden talent. The coolest girl in Hollywood has an equally cool talent: knife-throwing.

Angelina Jolie knows a thing or two about sharp objects. Why? Because she collects them and throws them, too. In an interview with W Magazine in 2008, she shared that she kickstarted her dagger collection before she even became a teenager. "My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12," she said. "And I've already bought Maddox some things. We take him to a special shop." Apparently, she passed her love for knives to her son, too, and now it's something they bond over. "We also talk about samurais and about the idea of defending someone as good," Jolie added.

The actor also notes that she doesn't buy any random dagger. Every piece in her collection holds meaning. "I've always been fascinated by other cultures and history and honor and fight and so they ... they are not shiny, brand-new sharp knives from the store," she told ABC News in 2003. "They're antique beautiful knives from other countries."

As per her knife skills? She once went on the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" early on in her career and showcased her impressive skills in handling a butterfly knife. She really was born to be Lara Croft.

Angelina Jolie is what you would call a multi-hyphenate. She's an actor, filmmaker, humanitarian, and women's rights activist, among many things. As if those things don't make her cool enough, she also happens to be a licensed pilot. Jolie knows how to make her way around the skies and even has her own aircraft.

She didn't start learning until she already started a family and had her son, Maddox. "I learned to fly a few years ago in England," Jolie told Vanity Fair in 2010. "When Maddox was one and a half, we used to go to the airfield, have lunch and watch the planes. And it dawned on me: I could fly. So I promised him I would fly by his second birthday." She took it so seriously that a source told People that Jolie is a "completely competent, confident flyer."

And now, the sky is her favorite place to be. "It's the only place I'm completely alone—up in the air, detached from everything," she said to Vanity Fair. "I love that I can just go anywhere, have that freedom. I tend to drive it to the ground."
