The CSI Episode You Forgot Travis Barker And Shanna Moakler Starred In

Travis Barker is a household name thanks to his Blink-182 fame, while his ex-wife Shanna Moakler is best known as a model, actor, and reality television star, who was the first runner-up at the Miss USA 1995 pageant. While they certainly did turn a lot of heads during their relationship, unfortunately their marriage didn't last very long. The couple began dating back in 2002, but pulled the plug on their union in 2008.

And while Barker has certainly moved on in his life with Kourtney Kardashian, Moakler has often commented about her ex's personal life in media interviews. Back in May, Moakler made some interesting comments about Barker and Kardashian's very public displays of affection. She told People, "I'm very much over my ex. It's been a long time. However, do I think some of the PDA that he's doing with her is weird? [Yes]," but added that she has "no ill will" towards them.

And while it doesn't seem like Barker and Moakler are friendly exes, little do some fans know that they had actually starred in a hit primetime television show that was a blink-and-you-would-miss-it moment.

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler briefly shared the screen

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler weren't always making jabs at each other in public. Back in 2006, they both starred in a "CSI" episode called "Poppin' Tags," per IMDb, which seems like a suitable enough title for the mid-naughts. Barker played a character by the name of Hi-Def while Moakler was J-Lady.

The episode revolved around the "death of three unidentified teenagers that lead the CSI's inside the world of rap." And while Barker has never really ventured much beyond the world of music, Moakler has quite a few credits to her name as she has guest-starred in television shows such as "The Goldbergs," Back Stabber," "The Glades," and so much more, per her IMDb page.

Unfortunately for the couple, that was the one and only time they ever shared screen time together in front of the cameras, apart from their reality show, "Meet the Barkers." That same year, Barker filed for divorce, even though he told People that he still had love for his wife, despite their issues. "I was hearing things in the press that Shanna was saying about me and it got to the point where it got so foul and so false that I wanted my fans to hear from me directly," he said at the time. The accusations that Barker made at the time certainly did sound like a storyline worthy of another television show episode.

Travis Barker wanted no part of Shanna Moakler's drama

According to People, a few of the reasons Travis Barker wanted to end his marriage to Shanna Moakler is because he accused her of partying too hard, sleeping too much, and neglecting their two children, Landon and Alabama, at the time. Barker told the publication that he and Moakler didn't get along because they had a different set of values.

"I came from a broken home. Through the process of my parents getting a divorce, my mom died [of cancer]," Barker said. "And, that being said, I want everything I didn't have growing up. It would be crazy for me not to. I wanted much more for my children. I wanted a mom [for my kids] that would wake up before 3 in the afternoon. I wanted a mom who wouldn't stumble in at 4 in the morning after me not knowing where she is."

Yikes. Seeing how their names are still attached to each other in the media, maybe Barker and Moakler can consider doing a reality show together about ex-couples? Now that would be a show worth watching.
