Bethenny Frankel Has A Long-Standing Feud With This Co-Host Of The View

Bethenny Frankel is known for stirring up drama on "The Real Housewives of New York." The OG housewife is one of the most controversial personalities across "Real Housewives" franchises, with the Skinny Girl CEO making a number of enemies during her time on reality TV.

Frankel famously feuded with her "RHONY" co-star Kelly Bensimon in the early seasons of the series when the two got off on the wrong foot. Their fighting culminated on "RHONY" Season 3 when some of the ladies thought Bensimon was suffering from a nervous breakdown when she claimed Frankel was "trying to kill her," per People. The outlet reported that Bensimon went on to say Frankel left her authentic self behind when she got in front of the Bravo cameras.

Frankel's biting sarcasm and attitude has rubbed more people than Housewives the wrong way over the years. In fact, a number of celebrities cannot stand Frankel because of their negative interactions with the television star. She has a particularly bad history with another television personality, "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin.

"The View" co-host Sunny Hostin made it clear how she felt about Bethenny Frankel in a 2019 episode of the show. The topic of discussion was Frankel's on-screen confrontation with her co-star Luann de Lesseps and Hostin spoke up about her own sour interaction with the star.

"I don't know Bethenny, but I've seen her behave that way on the beach when she was yelling at my child," Hostin said, describing an incident when Frankel confronted her kids for making too much noise in front of her residence. "[She] yelled at my child, and I went out there and stood in front of my child, and I yelled at her and told her that adults speak to adults," she continued. "And she knows I'm telling the truth."

Frankel went on to dismiss Hostin's claims on "Watch What Happens Live," saying, "I don't know ... I think she's been drinking or taking some drugs. I don't know her!" It appeared the feud between Hostin and Frankel was still going strong months later when Hostin was interviewed by ET Canada. When "The View" host was asked if she made amends with Frankel, Hostin simply took a very pointed vow of silence while shaking her head.

In 2018, Hostin called out Frankel's motives behind her grandiose relief efforts for Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico. "I don't think you go to a disaster area with personal photographers and videographers following you, watching you hug people," Hostin said on "The View," per Showbiz Cheat Sheet.

When Frankel again touted her charitable ways on social media, Hostin hit back on Twitter. "I thank you for the important charitable work you do but question the need for the self-serving publicity," she tweeted to Frankel. The "RHONY" star fired back in a tweet, "If someone was supporting that island in a substantial way, my team there knows about it. It is a small island." Their war continued, with Hostin tweeting, "Your team must be really impressive if it knows all the support being given to over 3 million people. Savior much?"

When Frankel listed the names of high-profile partners in the project, Hostin still wasn't sold. "I think I've struck a nerve," the host tweeted. "I think you have struck many," Frankel responded. After their scathing digital exchange and falling-out a year later, it doesn't seem like fans can expect a reconciliation between the two ladies.
